It's amazing that this level of virtuosity even exists as idea, let alone talented musicians developing the skill to realize it into the material world.
I enjoy this piece immensely. I have ownd the album since it was first released in the 1980s. I have numerous albums from Earl Klugh, and from George Benson. I have attended numerous concerts for each of them, and I saw, and heard them together on stage during their combined tour. They were magnificient. Both George Benson and Earl Klugh inspired me, gave me years of enjoyment through their music, albums, concerts, and even the sheet music albums I have of George and Earl. There is another great guitarist whose chops are astronomical, Jimmy Bruno. I recommend listening to Jimmy Bruno's performance of Mahna de Carnival, also known as Black Orpheus. I enjoy pairing Brazilian Stomp, from George and Earl, with Jimmy Bruno's Latin flavored, Salsa infused Black Orpheus - Mahna de Carnival, accessible through RUclips.
between George Benson, Earl Klugh and Marcus Miller, I'm overwhelmed by the talent .... anyone know if there is a video of Mimosa on here with them all?
I'll always remember Earl Klugh as a man that could stand next to George Benson with a nylon string guitar and provide a contrasting style that is just as intriguing to the ear. Both are amazing in their own way.
The mischievous look George gives Earl at 0:08 ! I feel they realise this has started at a faster tempo, and they look so excited like they know what they've got to play / what's to come!
That ain't Marcus Miller on Bass. That is Kern. I think his name is Kern Bradley from Detroit. Could be wrong about the last name. But he is definitely from Detroit. As is most of the rhythm section!
I kept checking for name of bass guitar and found on one set of Brazilian stomp there is a list of the musicians names and the bass guitar is CALVIN BRYANT check it out!!
A beautiful song composed by Earl Klugh played for exhibition forgive me but was not presented to enjoy the song I love George and Earl but were unhappy in this presentation. Lots of people on stage who did not just need a good drummer was enough. This Music is samba and not what appears there. Forgive me but as a fan I want to comment. You can call me that I play next time PEDRO ROMANO Brazil. Drumer
calvin bryant (bass) and Perry Hughes (rhythm guitar) I was wrong when I said Stanley Banks on bass. Googled until I thought I was part of the band (LOL) Thats a BaaaDD Man on rhythm guitar Thanks
I can put this song on repeat and NEVER get tired of listening to it!

It would be fantastic if this matter of bass guitarist be settled. I’d like to say he’s Stanley Banks. Please find out for us🙏🙏🙏🤔🤔🤔❤️
I kept checking for name of bass guitar and found on one set of Brazilian stomp there is a list of the musicians names and the bass guitar is CALVIN BRYANT check it out!!
hi MrDevDman that thing is to avoid feedback in acoustic guitars ,
geroge took this one home..lool
Its always george tat overshadowed earl in a duet..cos of dynamics
earl is also scary when he's warmed up.
It is not Brazilian Stomp and but Storm and outstanding coordination by the masters.
This track IS Brazilian Stomp
The drummer, Gene Dunlap, is as terrific as Stanley Banks is on bass, WOW, magnificent 😎
I was wrong about the bass's name, not stanley banks
but CALVIN BRYANT
