Mathew thank you for a truly great question. I wanted to take this one for the manufacture to get the correct answer. Here's the answer they gave me, "I hope all is well. Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend not using the Stealthflow downspout extension in below freezing climates. Areas 30 degrees and below are not recommended." So you're correct sir it is not recommended to be used in freezing temperatures. Thanks for watching and the great question. Love the flat contour. I’ll have to get several kits as I have to reach the road. Can I do multiple extensions? I will have to store it for the winter. Are they easily detachable? Stan
