Sonic the Hedgehog (Master System) running on Mega-SG

I have used the cropping tools of the Mega-SG to clean up the blank borders on the top, bottom, and left of the screen.
I'm running the game using the Mega Everdrive X7 so that I can utilize an actual Master System BIOS.
I get wrecked by the third boss, so that is about as far as the video goes!
