The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that resides under its hood derives from that of the X7 M60i, except that the power of the XB7 now increases from 612 to 630 horsepower. Its maximum torque remains at 590 pound-feet, but it is accessed a little earlier, at a speed ranging from 1,800 to 5,600 rpm.
