Bless her heart people are quick to criticize someone without knowing what’s going on in their lives. Thank you for helping this lady and know she really appreciated it.
In MY neighborhood, instead of bitching and complaining when someone has trouble keeping up their yard, we try to find out if they need help, and often got together and took care of it FOR them. In fact, I got really sick a couple of years ago, spent months in the hospital, and my neighbors looked after MY yard during that time. I am no longer able to do it myself, because of health issues, and it took me a little while to find someone who would cut it at a price I could afford. My neighbors were very understanding and helpful until I DID find someone.
Obviously someone really cared about this yard at one time! Thank you for helping her out! I know how hard it is to reach the point of “in-ability” to do what you’ve always done both for yourself & others! Unfortunately, with that also comes a huge reticence to ask for others help… (fortunately I can still do some & pay for help).
It appears most the neighbors don’t have lawnmowers either. They have gone to decorative rock! Spencer, you did a real service for the owner and the neighbors.👍🏻💚💙💚
The thing I can't stand is that when people say "you must be a nice guy" is that many people are actually saying, "you're probably someone I can take advantage of/manipulate/ use and exploit". Watch your backs out there.
I've watched other channels like yours for about a year now. You pay more attention to detail than anyone. You should be proud of what you do, Spencer. And you are a great guy, too. Love you man and keep up the good work!
The neighbor did not want to mow grass at all, all stone in his front yard & walking stones, plus he put up a fence, of course that was expensive! Terrific job Spencer!
I think you are offering a wonderful service and do a fantastic job. I think this video could have done without the 'shaming' with the neighbour and could have done without you taking the neighbour onto this persons property to point out how 'bad' the yard actually is. It isn't your property to bring members of the public onto. Perhaps consider that we never know what people are truly going through behind closed doors, depression, anxiety, grief or illness etc. That aside, you still offer a wonderful service that helps so many people. All the best!
You did a great job as usual. I know the home owner was thrilled that you were able to help. Bet she was amazed when she got home! You said the homeowner called you and ask for your help. I’m sure she must have elaborated as to why the yard looked that way. Maybe you could have mentioned a reason. I understand the neighbors frustration. However, if he was a good neighbor, he probably should’ve gone to their home and asked if there was something wrong. The yard seemed very well developed and landscaped. Most people that spend that much time and money on the yard are not going to simply stop working on it. The house appeared in good condition, not neglected, and there was no trash laying around. This has happened with several of our neighbors. Both were elderly couples. One man’s wife was confined to a hospital bed and needed 24/7 care. The other ladies husband suffered a massive stroke and was in a nursing facility. She had her own health issues and was completely unable to care for the lawn. We chose to go and ask if there was something we could do as we noticed the yard was overgrown. My husband graciously cut their lawn and trimmed the hedges, etc. Bottom line, be a good neighbor and check on the welfare of the people that live around you and possibly offer your help before disparaging them when you don’t know what the circumstances are.
Yeah, what a great neighbor. Me, when my neighbors lawn or outside stuff falls off, I go over to make sure they are o.k. , and , if they need any help. This is the way we used to do things, neighbors helped neighbors, people cared about their community and not just their property values.
Wow. I was shocked by the idea that this yard was anything more than overgrown or needing attention. "Disgusting" is a very strong word I would reserve for a yard that was strewn with rotting garbage, feral cats spraying all over or overrun by rodents. We have no idea what this homeowner is going through - and the fact that she reached out on her own to ask for help via FB when it was offered is a good sign that her intentions are to keep a tidy yard. I hope her other neighbors are less hostile, if not any more helpful, than the one you encountered during this job. It looks great now.
Spencer, I ♥️ the fact that help someone needing assistance once a week. Your a great guy. No one knows what someone may be going through. Neighbors should be helping neighbors but that no long seems to be the case. It's sad.....😟
As someone who helps my neighbors on the regular I agree. But there are limits to what is reasonable. This yard had seen months of neglect - IOW the owner/resident was unwilling to take responsibility for their living situation. Should the neighbor(s) do it weekly until she moves? They didn't demand she move into a single family home. I see many people in these comments using disabilities/ illness/ poverty as excuses for why its ok to not take care of your business, but it's not ok. (The most distasteful comments then go on the offensive to attack everyone but the homeowner for being lazy/uncaring). It's disrespectful to the neighbors and frankly herself for not figuring it out. She should take a break from surfing Facebook and go mower shopping.
People SHOULD be neighborly and kind, but there is a limit. If someone is just lazy and lets their yard go to hell, why should it be the neighbor's responsibility to do their work FOR them? I can understand if it's an elderly person who cant do their own yard. I'd be happy to help with that, But if it's just a younger person who doesn't want to get out and do a little hard work, then im afraid all your bleeding heart will do is enable them to keep being a lazy sack of space that now knows they can take advantage of people and get free things.
This video really show cases how someone yard affects others too and the work that you and other lawn companies have an affect not just on the people’s property that you are doing but neighbours. It was really nice for the neighbour to offer you a drink and help you out. Loved this video so much. Kindness all around! You for doing and the hell recirved
Love how people whinge that it’s messy but don’t offer to lend a hand because it’s free kindness 🤦🏻♀️ glad there are people I. The world like you willing to help out strangers in need
If he was a good neighbor he would have offered to help her with her lawn. I don't know how it is there, but where I live if a neighbors mower breaks we all help and take turns mowing their lawn until they can get it fixed.
If the neighbors are bothered by the lack of lawn care of their neighbors they can always pitch in and show compassion; but to complain and ridicule is evil.

Great seeing the neighbor sweeping out the fence that had so much dust and Mukk on it. The cleaned yard actually looks so good maybe neighbors will help in future.
Spencer this transformation was absolutely amazing! Those before and after shots were incredible! And you even inspired the sweet neighbor to help, I noticed him wiping down their side of the fence. Just beautiful. And congratulations on getting sponsors. I'm so happy for you 😊
😂😂😂 Sweet? Inspired to help? That's HIS fence and he's not doing for his neighbor. He's doing it because "Now I've got to clean this fence because he's got grass trimmings on it and SHE hasn't cleaned them off..." even though she's not home, it's only been minutes, and the rain would take care of them - Spencer blew most everything else off. Besides, it's the neighbor's fence so it's his job to maintain it.
@@Lucinda_Jackson so now you can read his mind? I know we already discussed this in the replies to someone else's comment but since you replied specifically to my comment I will repost. I found this on a site called "find law". "However, in most jurisdictions, both property owners must equally pay for and maintain a fence that runs on or close to a property line. This is typically true even if one neighbor made a unilateral decision to erect the fence. The reason both neighbors are on the hook for the cost and maintenance of a partition fence is because it's assumed that both neighbors benefit from the fence. In practice, this means that if Neighbor A decides to build a fence on the property line shared with Neighbor B, Neighbor B generally has to pay for half of it. Additionally, Neighbor B is responsible for maintaining the fence (and yard that leads up to the fence) on his or her side. If the fence is damaged or in need of replacement, generally, both Neighbor A and Neighbor B must pay for repairs or replacement 50/50." And yes, sweet. He came out, spoke to Spencer, later brought him a drink even though Spencer was someone else's guest, and then cleaned her side of the fence. A side he doesn't even have to look at btw.
@@ShellyCline Um, I just responded to your post maybe 10 minutes ago... I did thank you then for your clarification... I'm confused. And I would definitely NOT call that man sweet. He was very nasty about his neighbor. On that, we'll have to agree to disagree.
Such a great transformation! The edging is my favorite part of your videos. Have you ever done a combo cleanup with mowing/ washing? That would be a great one to see.
You can tell the previous owner had a vision. Sometimes people buy homes and love the curb appeal of a home but don't have the same energy to maintain it. Me personally I would love to maintain a garden like that. Imagine what it would like like if they power washed the driveways and the garden stones. Would be stunning.

It’s interesting that there are so many garden beds but they’re no longer maintained. I’m sure there’s a story behind it all. It’s a beautiful property. A gardener would love it. I know I would enjoy planning out and planting the garden beds everywhere 🪴🌿🌺🌼
Just what I was thinking Heather. There are many border stones, so someone at sometime cared a lot about the beds. It’s too bad neighbors can’t help a bit

Bless her heart people are quick to criticize someone without knowing what’s going on in their lives. Thank you for helping this lady and know she really appreciated it.
You are much more gracious with the neighbor than most would be...
Wow for free.. We know you and are so proud to be a part of your success.
Something I do find irritating is able neighbors complaining.
What a beautiful green oasis amidst a concrete and gravel jungle. You're a good man Spencer. Thank you for what you do to help others!
You did a great job; Spencer... bless you for what you do, and Mrs. SB for doing your laundry lol
Watching you now made me wish it was spring here in Michigan. Thanks Spencer
Michigan, we never know what season we're gonna wake up to.
Probably an old Greek lady..lol
Neighbour was shattered when she left. Lol
Absolutely love the background music
Where can I find this music
Agree. I love the music at the end.
It appears most the neighbors don’t have lawnmowers either. They have gone to decorative rock! Spencer, you did a real service for the owner and the neighbors.👍🏻💚💙💚
A real Greek idea..

That neighbor Gus was SOOOO nice to tip you!!!
You made them a part of the community again,. Great job, and hats off to you for helping them out.
Tak!
Thank you!
A real yard hero. Helping comunity. Your the best!!!
All the best!
relax sean
This was so satisfying i saw the neighbor in the backround getting the weeds
Wish you would clean the dried vines on the bushes they looked bad. Also back yard bushes needed a trim as well especially around the AC unit...
I mean he’s getting paid through advertisement. Clever. I don’t know why this is so satisfying to watch. Lol
You did a wonderful job Spencer. Trimming the trees etc was a perfect final touch. Looks lovely 😊
You know when your father made you mow the old neighbor's yard as a kid? This is like a wholesome thing that this man does as a grown man.
Agree, it really didn’t look as bad as other ones. As always a great job.
It’s exciting every time you find something new and unveil it it’s like a treasure hunt lol
This homeowner had to be overjoyed with your work... Great job 🌟🌟👍🏾
15:50 he’s wielding that thing like it’s a lightsaber.
May the force be with you!
I'd be happy to help with that,
But if it's just a younger person who doesn't want to get out and do a little hard work, then im afraid all your bleeding heart will do is enable them to keep being a lazy sack of space that now knows they can take advantage of people and get free things.
Quite a difference with just the trimming. Great Job, Great Video. Thanks
Spencer, another very nice-looking yard. You help so many without question. You're a good man.
This video really show cases how someone yard affects others too and the work that you and other lawn companies have an affect not just on the people’s property that you are doing but neighbours. It was really nice for the neighbour to offer you a drink and help you out. Loved this video so much. Kindness all around! You for doing and the hell recirved
Keep doing your thing brother. Your one of a kind
Love how people whinge that it’s messy but don’t offer to lend a hand because it’s free kindness 🤦🏻♀️ glad there are people I. The world like you willing to help out strangers in need
Why can't people just be neighborly and talk to each other. All of us here know each other. If we need help we are there. Looks great 👍
If he was a good neighbor he would have offered to help her with her lawn. I don't know how it is there, but where I live if a neighbors mower breaks we all help and take turns mowing their lawn until they can get it fixed.
Your outstanding qualities continue to shine forth, Spencer. Beautiful work.
If the neighbors are bothered by the lack of lawn care of their neighbors they can always pitch in and show compassion; but to complain and ridicule is evil.
Im so amazed that you do it by yourself. So much dedication to your passion and on helping the community for free. God bless you❤️
I watched the ad for Hello Fresh and I’m intrigued. I could cook that for my husband and myself. Our daughter has moved out (Boo!!!) because she’s finished college and is now at graduate school! We’re very proud of her!!! BUT she could come back and live with Mama!!!! Lol!! I love that you and your sweet wife do this for people. You have a lovely home and I love your refrigerator!!! Keep up the good work!! God bless!!!
That is a really nice garden with beautiful plants all around. Pity it has been neglected. You did a great job as always 👏 👍
I was going to say did the neighbors bother to check on these people or offer to maybe loan them there mower? Some times some people need a little help.
You did a really great job man. I myself like to work outside mowing and tree trimming. It’s good that you are extremely kind enough to clean up yards for free. You never know what people are going through these days. I totally respect that about you.
I don't know why I enjoy watching this stuff. It is pleasing in some way to see things taken care of. Especially for folks that are unable to get it done on their own.
Thank you for blessing so many homeowners with your landscaping skills. You will be BLESSED--count on it!
This is sooo satisfying
Hey Spencer 👋🏻 the world needs more like you! Super nice thing to do!
I think one of the reasons I love watching your videos is your attention to detail. Not sure how many other folks would have taken the time to straighten all those white border edgings, but you did and the end result was an amazing looking yard. Thank you, Spencer, for all you do! ❤❤❤
I’m confused....I see a lot of same plants and trees that we have in Florida....I thought it was cold and snowed there in the winter? - watching from Lake Wales, Florida
He was in Florida. Some of those plants won't grow outside in any state but Florida.
Wow! Trimming the bushes as well! Go Spence!!!!
Great job Spencer ...always love the music you use ❤

Amazing job Spencer! It was nice to see the appreciation the neighbor had, I'm sure it did improve the entire neighborhood.
Beautiful makeover. You are a true example of angel that helps those who need a little bit of help. God bless you and your family.
What an awesome transformation Spencer!! You've actually got me noticing properties around me that might be able to use your services (both Mowing/Power Washing) and when I find them, I'll send you a note for the next time you're in my area. @@itsnotme07 You could pay some professionals like Spencer to handle those lawns.
I'm so happy for you 😊
Thanks so much!!
If the fence is damaged or in need of replacement, generally, both Neighbor A and Neighbor B must pay for repairs or replacement 50/50."
And yes, sweet. He came out, spoke to Spencer, later brought him a drink even though Spencer was someone else's guest, and then cleaned her side of the fence. A side he doesn't even have to look at btw.

Um, I just responded to your post maybe 10 minutes ago... I did thank you then for your clarification... I'm confused. And I would definitely NOT call that man sweet. He was very nasty about his neighbor. On that, we'll have to agree to disagree.
@@Lucinda_Jackson yes we certainly will.
Used to be when neighbors helped each other, I guess gone are those days. I still have neighbors who help out, i know I am blessed 😊
