Instead of the fingerbearer I would instead put Eso the antagonist who fought nobara and yuji, I could see him being a range character. I think his brother kechizu could be dlc because of how the rotting technique worked when connecting their techniques or they might change it to work with any teammate in 2v2.

I would be thrilled to witness the incorporation of Domain Battles within this game where they could introduce a mechanic or system where domains could engage in clashes with each other. However, rather than simply mashing a single button rapidly to secure W, players would be required to execute specific in-game actions or something akin to that idea

Honestly over the finger bearer id want the cursed brothers from the last 2 episodes they can be one character or separate but their blood poison timer could easily be a major gimmick that alot of characters would have to adapt too
One thing I think will be cool if they added is a synergy system, where since it's heavily focused on 2 player gameplay, it would be awesome if you get a synergy bonus for certain character combos (Yuji + Todo, Gojo + Nanami, Maki + Mai etc). Other than that I think it'll release after the full airing of JJK Season 2 just for good measure on these characters
Dude I can't stress enough how good it is that byking is making this. They're incredible Devs, but they really can't balance. Honestly, though? I'm sure they've learnt, and I'm really happy they're the ones doing this. If nothing else, I trust them to make a fun, unique game.
I imagine that Season 2 characters will be DLC because every character we've seen is based on their season 1 selves. Megumi with Chimera Shadow Garden, Nobara with Hairpin. I think the real sticking point will be whether or not 0 will be base roster or not. We don't find out much about Yuta until an arc recently in the manga so I could see them wanting to save him for DLC. But that movie was huge so base roster makes the most sense. I'm also not entirely sure if Mechamaru would be base roster or not based on some other information. But overall, good list.
Might be possible for Yuji and Sukuna to function as the same character. Maybe Yuji will have an awakening system and switch with Sukuna or have a bar system like Nagoriyuki in Guilty Gear.
About 2v2, I think that’s optional, in the trailer there seemed to be a 1v1 between a yuji and a gojo, maybe the other characters were off screen but idk, I never got the impression it was 2v2 focused, just has 2v2 as an additional game mode
I'm sure Maki would be an amazingly fun character. I can just see the fast movement and variety that comes with her kit. I just hope shes not too broken or too trash on release.

Assuming they decide to do 4 characters per pack, (let me dream, OK?), I could see: Pack One as the characters from Season One you didn’t have space for, those being Muta, Miwa, and Momo, and for the 4th, we can do one of those Cursed Womb siblings. That's not a bad roaster casted, man! I love it! I really do! Like you said, there is potential for DLC characters, for both season 1 & season 2 characters. But to go back to season 1 real fast. I know A LOT of fans are not going to agree with me on this one. But I PERSONALLY would like to see Junpei Yoshino make the list too. For many reasons, but I'll only mention a few. For one, he was one of Yuji's first close friends he ever had, next to Fushiguro and Kugisaki. Even after Junpei died, Yuji even had a quick fantasy of Junpei being on the same team with him alongside Fushiguro and Kugisaki. It showed how deeply Yuji really liked Junpei. And secondly, (and this might not matter much lol), but in the first Jujutsu Kaisen opening, there's yet another fantasy where Yuji is dreaming about Junpei being part of the school. It again, shows how much Yuji really cared about him. Yes, Junpei didn't fight much. But I still think they can make his gameplay work. In My Hero One's Justice 2, they made Shinso a playable character. Even though he didn't do too much fighting during the Class 1A versus Class 1B arc. The developers still found a way to make him fit in. If they can do that for Shinso, they can give my boy Junpei Yoshino the same treatment.
We see Gojo shooting a hollow purple, and that DEFINITELY feels like an ultimate the way it was shown in the trailer, so it’s still possible that domains are implemented in a different way.
tbh it would be kinda cool if they added the ENTIRE kyoto school cast as a huge update or huge dlc. (if the dlc consist of only the kyoto school students, it would probably cost around 20$-30$)
I highly doubt characters like Naoya and Dagon would get in, we'll probably see the main cast and some more important side villains but it seems unlikely that the first game in the (presumable) series is just going to throw out every single character as DLC.

The only time I was like there’s no way is Mai, she is important but I feel like mechamaru would be added before her because his fight with panda was slightly more memorable, to me at least, than her fight with maki. Just watched the video, and I'd say I 95% agree with you on the roster prediction. Yuta and Geto though would definitely be must haves for most,I personally see them being made as DLC for that exact reason, and as such, I think they're more likely to be swapped out for Mechamaru and Miwa. NGL, you slightly lost me with the Finger Bearer until you made a good case for his inclusion, but I also believe he could be reserved for DLC even if he's a fightable character in story mode as my pick is just as,if not more influential to the story of S1, Junpei. Nonetheless, great video all round.
I personally think and hope that every character with relevance in the current anime will make it in as a DLC or on the starting set. such as choso. I also think that with season 3 most sertantly coming out next year that they will add characters like Hakari, and higuruma in as a culling games DLC pack which may also include kashimo and Takaba

i feel like this roster is pretty acurate for the my hero once justice creators. the heavy hitter were on the main roster and the dlc was mostly more niche characters. i do think noritoshi could be replaced and maybe it's too soon for geto with how important he is in season two and onwards he could definitely be dlc.

Honestly, I can see Kasumi Miwa being a playable character in this JJK fighting game. Not only did she use her Shadow Style Swordsmanship to one-shot a couple of curses in the JJK 0 movie but her moveset can be like what we see in Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles, just a simple copy and paste.
if we wanted to break the even number thing in a decent way i think a fingerbearer is the perfect canidate to be 19th. I would like to add Mechamaru to the game as well. He has some importance in the story with 2 major characters that will 100% be in the game.
Out of all of the powers in the jjk anime and manga, todo has the coolest one. It's just so simple but todo makes it work 100 times better Just like mirio and his quirk.

Finger bearers could just be NPC fighters, as in you can’t play as them but face them in story/challenge battles and they have a move set for those battles, fighting games do that sometimes and I think it makes more sense than giving a slot away

I feel like mechamaru will make it instead of Mai. The only reason I’m saying this is because in the anime, the only thing she does is shoot bullets and create a bullet. I feel like the only moves she will have is single shot, rapid fire, and creation which is very boing.
Imo Toji Fushiguro would be an amazing character. He has great meaningfulness in the lore and great fights. Not to mention hes cool af and the inverted spear of heaven would be amazing to see in action and a character with the ability to stop others techniques would be cool

I agree with everything on this list, only thing I’d change is Mai for Mechamaru, where he’d be a close-mid range attacker, or Miwa who’d be more of a counter character like Giyu in demon slayer, I feel like Mai doesn’t add anything special
I think the game is gonna require Junpei as well. He's really integral to the story of JJK and Yuji's character arc.

Just watched the video, and I'd say I 95% agree with you on the roster prediction.
Yuta and Geto though would definitely be must haves for most,I personally see them being made as DLC for that exact reason, and as such, I think they're more likely to be swapped out for Mechamaru and Miwa.
NGL, you slightly lost me with the Finger Bearer until you made a good case for his inclusion, but I also believe he could be reserved for DLC even if he's a fightable character in story mode as my pick is just as,if not more influential to the story of S1, Junpei.
Nonetheless, great video all round.
I personally think and hope that every character with relevance in the current anime will make it in as a DLC or on the starting set. such as choso. I also think that with season 3 most sertantly coming out next year that they will add characters like Hakari, and higuruma in as a culling games DLC pack which may also include kashimo and Takaba
I don’t know if you caught this but they also said fight through battles to progress your characters and unlock more powerful attacks meaning you have to play to unlock attack moves very interesting
it makes sense though, having a 15 finger sukuna straight off the bat is a little unfair 💀
Change the finger bearer with Toji and i agree completely (even tho you said you wont be using characters from the manga or new season i feel like Toji is a must)

i feel like this roster is pretty acurate for the my hero once justice creators. the heavy hitter were on the main roster and the dlc was mostly more niche characters. i do think noritoshi could be replaced and maybe it's too soon for geto with how important he is in season two and onwards he could definitely be dlc.

Honestly, I can see Kasumi Miwa being a playable character in this JJK fighting game. Not only did she use her Shadow Style Swordsmanship to one-shot a couple of curses in the JJK 0 movie but her moveset can be like what we see in Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles, just a simple copy and paste.

if we wanted to break the even number thing in a decent way i think a fingerbearer is the perfect canidate to be 19th. I would like to add Mechamaru to the game as well. He has some importance in the story with 2 major characters that will 100% be in the game.

Out of all of the powers in the jjk anime and manga, todo has the coolest one. It's just so simple but todo makes it work 100 times better Just like mirio and his quirk.

Fingerbearer surprised me but i definitely agree with it, i think everyone is pretty reasonable and kinda set in stone until the last two slots where its kinda iffy, cause it could be the principles and like MeiMei or the kyoto students but out of the kyoto students which have the highest chance of getting in i would think, definitely mai cause of just the importance of the character really and then i was coping Miwa cause i really like her but Kamo does seem more likely, pretty reasonable list, some people are saying DLC characters could be like hype characters or some of the villains but i honestly think it'll be characters from season two, like Toji, a Toji DLC would make a ton

Finger bearers could just be NPC fighters, as in you can’t play as them but face them in story/challenge battles and they have a move set for those battles, fighting games do that sometimes and I think it makes more sense than giving a slot away

It will be very cool if they're going to tell the JJK0 story in this game. If they're not, then I can't imagine that we'll get to play as Geto or Yuta in the base game.
I feel like mechamaru will make it instead of Mai. The only reason I’m saying this is because in the anime, the only thing she does is shoot bullets and create a bullet. I feel like the only moves she will have is single shot, rapid fire, and creation which is very boing.
I’m definitely wanting to do either boogie woogie combos or just clapping cheeks as Toji.
Now i saw that one of the attack animations are reused like the kick kick that yuji and megumi share that animation
Imo Toji Fushiguro would be an amazing character. He has great meaningfulness in the lore and great fights. Not to mention hes cool af and the inverted spear of heaven would be amazing to see in action and a character with the ability to stop others techniques would be cool

Depending on the date the game comes out would probably determine jogo’s spot. He has a fight in shibuya with some unseen moves so that makes me think he’ll be a potential dlc character or just another added on variant.
i doubt they'd cover s2 stuff even though the season airs soon. if the game drops this year then absolutely no s2 stuff but if its after then it's likely
