i hate that collecting has become high stakes gambling, with somehow worse odds than a Vegas Casino. Even if you sold your only two hits for your estimate, with zero fees, you're still in the hole by a significant amount just on 3 packs, and that's after pulling a guy who won 3 out of the last 4 mvps, and arguably the GOAT in LeBron.

We by cards are soooo over over produced its beyond ridiculous. Other than low print run numbered stuff, the rest is going to be damn near worthless. PSA alone has graded over 200,000 in less than a year. Ya' all are getting played by panini. Sad.

@kevingreene4090 in 2018 a prizm hobby box was $85 -$110... singles are now worth LESS (I sold a Trae Young base RC for $100 in 2020) now top rookie base are worth about $5 and boxes are $1000 ...hmmmmm

Not overprinted. There are about 20 of each. With the price of the packs and the size of the set, a good card is gonna be tough to come by, hence justifying the price of the singles.
There are nearly 2000 of those 2003 Topps Chrome LeBron RC that have been graded as a PSA10. There are around 20 white prizms of each player printed every year. Price reflects rarity. While the 2003 LeBron is and should be more expensive, the rarity of the White Sparkles is what makes them so coveted.

@richardharden6811 to be honest... breakers are ruining the hobby ... they buy up all the products, which is why resale is 3x MSRP ... they get deals from distributors before they even hit the market.
If I had paid $5 for those packs I would have been disappointed. I cannot believe that PANINI would find a niche market beneath the sewer. By my calculations you pulled a $50 card. Busting PANINI product is a disturbing exercise in machoism. If we are kind, we can call it an addiction
