    Replace the generator with beefier alternator and regulator and power one of your radios for a candle powered radio.

    Very nice! When I were a lad we used to make our own Stirling engines out of baked bean cans and pieces of rubber balloon.

    The Stirling is the best example of the External Combustion Engine to date, there are few others. I have built a few, a good STEM project for older youngsters.

    Fred just looking at your latest video down suggest people use loctite rather than super glue loctite can be undone afterwards

    Should the cranks be at 90 deg to each other on most Stirling engines? Your look to be something less than that

      The set up was more 45 degs. I did tweak the timing a bit to see if i could get higher voltage.

      @@CB-RADIO-UK Did you ever record it? Looking for a small Stirling engine that can produce 12 volts 5 watts minimum. Any thoughts?
