The song hits really hard when you parents always underestimate you and consider you worthless and laugh at you when they see your goals and after achieving them they say it ain’t a big deal and start talking about all the times you failed and humiliate you comparing you with other kids. This song makes you feel loved and cozy something kids like me have not felt in years. You know because of my parents i am never gonna marry or have kids because i am afraid i will become too much like them and hurt my kid i don’t wanna have a kid and put him through hell like my parents did with me. Because of my parents whenever i do something whenever i make a decision there is this voice inside me always telling me that i am wrong that i am not worth it. Its really hard to act all strong and to not cry in front of anyone. When she realised she can never say *papa* word to anyone now. When she grew up seeing others having a lovely family their parents and siblings love them knowing she can never feel that again. It's hard to act all strong after realising hoe everyone around her is fake including her family. How her sadness, loneliness, pain, tears turns into anger, sudden burst of, being irritated....... They says situation make others strong but forget to mention the scars those situation lefts haunt them whole life..... She knows there's no one who would console her like Eminem did which breaks her heart more.

This is basically my whole life. My mom died when i was 6 and my dad got depressed (like anyone would) now, i was kinda depressed but at that age I couldn’t process it at the time but i was definitely sad, and its even worse that they was divorced before she died, and it hits so hard that my mom sang me the original mockingbird song as a lullaby. Im now currently living at my grandpas with my cousins, one of them was born 10 days apart from me, and currently we are as close as brothers and we definitely have a bond. Im tearing up writing this.anyway, thats my whole life. (Kinda)
