Hey man, just wondering if you know if there's any way to slow down the tilt servos during the transitions? By default the jump between vtol mode and fixed wing mode very quickly which I think causes the transition to be rough. I suspect that slowing down how quickly the tilt servos move would help a lot with that. I know this is possible in ardupilot, but is it possible in inav?
Hi, it is possible to slow down the tilt servos on entering of a mixer profile by setting rates on the servo mixing rules, but it is not possible when leaving a mixer profile(it was possible in the development phase, but I removed it to simplify the code). Now i am thinking about a new way to implement it while keep it simple
Did you have to change the stock GPS module on your Manta for INAV VTOL to work? The documentation says that INAV needs a compass, but the stock module doesn't have one
I have changed the GPS with a compass to use the navigation mode on multi rotor mode. Compass is required in multi rotor mode. But for fixed wing navigation mode or acro mode. Compass is not required.
Hi Susa, I'm bothering you, I wanted to know if by any chance you could help me with the inav to find out how the mapping was on the f405 vtol with the inav on the fimi manta
I'm still flying it with ArduPlane and it is ok. My main complaint is that it does not hover very well. Do you think that it would be better with a compass?
I used your diff for this build. I’m running a 3s made out of 21700 cells. Mine shakes horrifically on middle transition mode. Any ideas on why? Too heavy, or angle mode?
will be super nice a tutorial from "flashing to flight" on the manta and t1, with the PNP electronics and flight controllers. I have t1 and a manta on the box and I think I don´t want to mess with aurdocopter, I think inav will be more solid system for vtols

Thank you for all the amazing development work you do for inav and the hobby. Your a star
it seems pretty fun to fly like you. Thanks again for your effort on the vtol firmware.
I need to gwt one of these vtol planes for tight landong places.
we miss your videos man!! come back to youtube with your developing content and new features of inav 7.1
Ready to release?
