You can't tell in this video. But in others, that shows multiple perspectives, the desync can be so bad that the person runs out of range as the person is dying as sheriff.
What’s a Freudian slip? Edit: so I looked it up for the people who wanna know; it’s when you subconsciously reveal your emotions/how you feel by unintentionally misnaming something/someone. Examples include: calling your current partner by your ex's name or calling your teacher your mom. Or even calling out what imposter role you have when referring to yourself by accident! Fun new fact we all learnt today :D
yup. we commonly use it like if someone's having a wholesome conversation with someone then they accidentally say something dirty (that sounds similar to the word they meant to say) and the other person goes "well we know whats on your mind" It always makes me laugh. but yeah it's often also done accidentally during games like this.
Dumbdog gave away he had an info role, so it would have been good to try and guess him. Either Detective, Investigator, Tracker or Medic. Ngl 1/4 odds aren't good but better than nothing.
The way he phrased it, he might also have been Imitator. In retrospect we can tell that he got the info from reporting Koji but he said he knew Koji was Sheriff at a point when he might have just imitated him and known that way.
Again, i repeat, major self snitch sucks. It should not be a mechanics at all, or it should be counter balanced by something equally potent... like forced skip during round of reveal. You smart, you can come up with something I'm sure.
I think a good balance would be if you're not revealed, you can only abstain. This would make it so crew has less voting power until the mayor is revealed. Another option could be to only show the reveal after all votes are in, so it wouldn't sway other voters that round. A forced skip would just make Mayor unusable late game, since the reveal would give the imposters an automatic skip when you really need to vote someone. You'd just see a lot of round 1 reveals if it caused a skip. In all honesty though, big props to Annie this video, this has been the only time I've seen a reveal used so well. Usually I just see Mayors reveal early and get killed lol
@@ShadowBulbPerhaps, but I still see it quite commonly mentioned in videos and comments when someone actually does a Freudian slip, usually in a tongue-in-cheek teasing kinda way, so I thought it's sort of become spread through osmosis cultural common knowledge. _Everyone knows what a Freudian slip is._ Even if some people don't know _who_ Freud is.

Very impressed that Kara basically told Hafu she was transporting Hafu every round and Hafu still voted for her on 5, lol
Riiiip, that Slip was brutal
The slip was funny - the Annie mayor reveal was exquisite

@@alzhanvoid thanks for explaining!
Honestly I'm happy to see even slip ups can make into the main video.. even though it was, dare i say, a good attemption
Ellum saying "hmm" in that last meeting will never not be funny
So DK imitated sherrif and failed. Then he was cleaned. Why didn't that person report DK tried to kill them?
Wait, right, it couldn't have been Kimi since she would have died from the sheriff
@@coconoisetteIt was DumbDog. He said so at the end. DK sherrifed his own medic.
Can someone explain how the imitator role works?

Lol. Ellum was mistaken for Koji... been a while huh...
That mayor mic drop 😂
I would love to see more videos of you winning with different roles, crew rolls included!! i.e. Tracker, mayor, etc.
If you don’t like the mayor reveal you could suggest turning on prosecutor instead of mayor.
I have to admit that I didnt like the mayor reveal until I saw dumbdog's most recent video
i saw that too! It's pretty neat. But real op sometimes haha

Ellum just roleplaying as Ellum tbh

Dumbdog, contrary to his name, is too good at this game.
I just love that music at the beginning, foreshadowing the inevitable hilarious event... Never stop with the sneak peaks, pleasee
The more kimi talks, the more sus she is
Poor 5up spilled the beans 🫘
I love watching you do these videos, thank you! ❤
Oh this was gold!!!!!!!!
Love it!!!
I’m surprised they thought Junk was sus….
Watching 5up's Vods can really boost my IQ. Today I learned the word "Freudian Slip" and before there was also "Occam's Razor". Smarter everyday.
Nintendo just announced a new map for among us, "the fungle" man am i hyped for 5up and crewfu playing 😍
I think the delay before an imposter can guess should be far shorter, because that was so painful :S
That was unfortunate... 😂

revealing as mayor seems like a broken use, cuz this just avoided the entire point of end game among us. who thought that was a good ability.
why is someone breathing heavy?? O.o I thought it was my mic or I was in a discord call with someone XD. I got scared there for a sec XD
Didn’t Markiplier get away with the Freudian slip once?
Wait...there was no neutral killer? Just sherrifs killing themselves?!?
Plaguebearer is the neutral killer that game
Poor Scott, he didn't get to relish in his role even for a single round
Does 5up still streams among us? I'm binge watching his games for a couple of days now lol
yep, almost every wednesday morning on twitch I believe but Im not entirely sure on the day since I haven't watched his among streams in a while
So close, so close
Can someone explained what happened?
How was Mayor revealed? I don't get it
why did the reveal happen?
i don't get it, why suddenly the game showed annie and 5up roles? what is that new mechanic?
Only 5up can see his role. And we as his viewers.
In this mode Mayors can reveal their role to everybody and they can't be guessed
Mayor can reveal to get two votes instead of 1, I'm guessing.
Mayor vote counts for three once revealed but vision is reduced by half.
5up still thank old subs for 90% of his stream?
title change??
i wanna kiss you

Why didnt he snipe Mayor when she revealed herself?
as soon as she reveals her role in the meeting she cannot be guessed. Notice the guess button disappeared - he then guessed Kara
you can't guess a revealed mayor
Don't you think that would defeat the purpose of the whole thing?
