As a psychologist, I am very happy to see how much you are introducing Robbie to craft work. This is a major advance in helping him cognitively. And, you're “scaffolding” Robbie in helping him in naming the ingredients to make cupcakes is just exemplary. And, your constant affirmation of your love for this dear boy is wonderful to witness. Tom, you're being a great dad to this treasured young lad.

It’s scary how many parents I know who just put their toddler in front of a phone or iPad all day because it “keeps them quiet.” Seeing you interacting with Robbie and getting him involved in lots of different activities is so refreshing to see ❤️
They waited years to have him. Think that influence alot how they act around him. Some couples take for granted how easy for them to have kids when others struggle for years.

@@Sigita989 They definitely do. It’s sad, because I know lots of people who aren’t necessarily bad parents but they don’t see the need to engage with their kids with something as simple as reading a book :/

I'm so glad you aren't so hell bent on being strict about messes and just let him help the best way he sees it to be done.
My Mom was lenient about many things growing up because she knew in the end things would be ok. I'll tell you what, that is the part I remember the most, that she let us make mistakes and live life and learn, I highly respect her for that, and appreciate her strong will and patience. Robbie will do that same for you guys too. You always have to remember, that what you do will be remembered, and will paint a picture of you for the rest of his life.
Oh Tom, I couldn’t stop laughing at Robbie’s comment about your crocheting efforts, saying his little jumper was “so silly.” He’s a natural born critic. 🤣 I hope you keep it up and make more silly things... like a pair of swim trunks for Papa? Props to Lance for his KitchenAid Stand Mixer. Great choice. 👍

Hi Tom, Lance and Robbie. You obviously don't know me. I have been following Tom since the early 2008 or so. Well I'm Canadian Sorry for that Lance. Tom Is an amazingly superb truly human been. He has showed his skills so many times over, winning Brit's medals, winning EU medals, winning Worlds one, of course Olympics ones. But what was making me freaking happy or glad was first his coming out, then telling all of us been so happy he was in love with an amazing man (you Lance) and seeing how much he was glad he meet the guy he was head over in love with you. Then the wedding, seeing you 2 been together for EVER. Then even further down Robbie Ray. DEAR GOD that was amazing in itself. Seeing you 2 every little bit of happiness with him been in your center of your world. I can hardly say what all of what the both of you do and represent (I'm an old gay guy 67 yo) I did one freaking mistake in my life... at around Tom now age I was with someone who was a little younger than me then, I was freaking carrer oriented then, Mine was going fabiousely then, he just fineshed his diplomat a month prior. He was given a dream job, becoming and head chef in Vancouver BC (Canada) asking me to go with him, I did not... even after now over 42 years of this I still think of him, I regret not doing it. But seeing you 2 make me hope you 2 will in some way make this happen until you 2 see Robbie Ray get to to grow up to be a young man and seeing grand-children been born from him and continue your legacies. WOW I am sorry for this hole long thing... Wishing you both many more years of happiness and growing old together. Sending you virtual hugs from Montreal, Canada.

love the way you help Robby "learn" rather than simply making the glob of glue smaller yourself; I wish I had been that patient with my sons, but I grew up with parents who remembered rationing in WW2, AND the Depression Era before that, and so nothing that cost money was ever "wasted". By the way, your pattern of the shapes reminded me of the artist Kandinsky.

My English is not very good, I don't understand everything, it is usually spoken too quickly. But I really enjoy watching your videos, especially with Robbie. You are always so relaxed with everything you do with Robbie, bake, paint, etc. I had to laugh so hard when Robbie washed her hands and the sink looked so beautifully colorful. WOW, you have good nerves. Then when baking you only saw the feet and the cake pan, funny. I'm always looking forward to new videos with you, also with Lance and Tom !!!!!!! I love the excitement with which little Robbie is going to open his Christmas presents. In my country the Christmas tradition is something different, but it's still about love and family. This is the cutest video! Little Robbies feet when sitting on the counter helping Papa make cupcakes melted my heart! Took me back to when my son was a toddler❤️.
