The main reason I like the native app is for being able to program motion sequencing a bit faster than on the hardware. The UI makes it easier

That sounds damn incredible for a softsynth! There is usually something lost in the translation from hardware to software, but in this case, the plugin sounds as good to my ears as the physical unit.

as i understand it, the hardware is just a less powerful computer platform for the entire wavestate engine (except of course that is offers knobs and keys)

the modwave, wavestate & opsix lineup are all digital synthesizers, both the hardware and plugin versions essentially run off the same code. its super convenient, you can import & export everything between the two with no fuss 👍

No it doesnt, there is something missing, at least latency! I prefer the hardware to play and compose, but i find the librarian Software usefull and as Sound as you have midi notes in your daw the latency is gone.

Looks a little like my setup except my screens are 36" and 50" .
Makes the labels very easy to see.😲lol
