I know exactly what you mean but you always have to take the good with the bad. Just think of all the wondrous things we now take for granted that they didn’t even dream of. This was not long after the war ended, not to mention the Great Depression. Every time has its pleasure and pain. Try being grateful for the time we have, like Christmas!
