The chickens love chick weed so let it grow and grow and feed to the chickens. I hate chard so I grow it for the chickens. That quack grass is a pain. I dig it out with a shovel every year, but in the garden the nut grass-as we call it, is horrible. I just can't get every nut out. Ground ivy has beautiful purple flowers so I don't mind it at all. Dollar grass is taking over my St. Augustine grass and that isn't nice. What ever it is called-we call it Texas tulip-they are beautiful flowers, but they take over and you have to dig and dig to get it out-it shows up in the yard and in pots somehow. Poison ivy is horrible and that other ivy that grows all over and up trees, up siding, anywhere you don't want it. Runners go underground and come up fence lines. Have a Wonderful & Blessed Day!
