- Apologies to everyone for the delay again but as you can guess.... lol work has me busy... hopefully the storm will end soon lol
On this guide I covered his Main Pokes, Antiairs, BnBs, Setups / Meatys and Combos.
I did not add all his combos because most of you have access to the demo and RUclips is full of Ryu's combos so this will mostlikely only help new players. I will try to have Jamies Guide ready soon (hopefully next week.... lol)
I hope you guys like the video.

When he said you must stop doing medium kick to fireball lmy jaw dropped because it's really apart of my arsonl since SF2 champion edition and is hard to give up
I know lol it will be hard because is easy to throw a Drive Impact between the C.MK > Fireball, this applies to any fireball character like Ken, Ryu, Juri and probably some of the new characters like Dhalshim too, so instead do S.HP > Fireball :)
This may be the most helpful guide I've seen for a fighting game of all time, I appreciate that you showed what worked and then showed WHY the other thing didn't work, you put mad effort into this and it's appreciated, I played a friend last night who was on EVERY beta and a cracked ver. And this showed me so much tech that I was missing out on, hopefully it carries into the full release, thanks again homie 🙏🏾
You are welcome and thanks for your support to the channel 😁 I will make another video to see the changes once the game is released.
Wow...this is the best Ryu guide I've seen online. Great work man.

great vid, thanks mate
You are welcome and thanks for supporting 😁
great video with the notations, but its really confusing when u call the buttons low and high, "standing low kick" or crouching high punch, the L and the H stands for light and heavy.
Sorry I was used to a different game, thanks for the feedback, I will correct that in future videos, you are right lol L stands for light and H for heavy, thanks 😁
Part of the reason that’s a tad confusing is standing light kick, despite its appearance, doesn’t actually hit low.
Wow you earned my Sub ! I will be on board for SF6
Thanks for supporting 😁
Good video bro
Thanks man and any feedback is well appreciated 😁
Thanks! So we'll done!
Thank you for supporting mate 😃
thank u this helps alot
You are welcome 😁
Jab, strong, fierce
Short, forward, roundhouse
Thanks 😁 I will keep that in mind for future videos :)
Dope guide a suggestion that I don’t see many do is a character match up guide
Thanks. I will do that 🤔 that's a good idea 💡 I will try doing that 😁
I have the Demo but I only can play the Word tour. How do you play the Ryu Practice mode?
You need use his character guide section, the most common is the super 3 guide because it will give you full bars and will allow you to do his CA. :)
On anti air does jump medium punch beat air throws I know guile and chun have so was wondering should I look out for that as a counter to jumping MP
sorry for the delay, yes it does but only if you do it first, even a Jump heavy kick, punch or any air normal except light punch or kick, but you need to keep in mind, if you don't throw your normal earlier, chun or guile will grab you, one example is against CPU, it knows you did throw so the CPU will do jump MP earlier and will beat your throw but against normal players do it, I am pretty sure that you will win any normal most of the time because your opponents will not do a normal earlier expecting you to try your air throw :)
i will bookmark your video~~~~~
Thanks mate 😀
Can you do a ken guide? Keep up with the great work 👍
Sure I will do that, I will just finish Jamie's Guide quick
Hello, that's exactly what i searched for. Since your video was around May, are all the tips still valid ? Thanks a lot !
Thanks and yes, all these setups and combos still work because Ryu didn't suffer of any changes as far as I have tested but I will check again and make a new video about everyone with new tech :) but so far all these combos and setups still work in current version
I cant link a slk after ex hasho geki, is it only on crouching opponents?? Or is it the counterhit?? Also, i believe this footage is from the cracked beta, ryu got some changes in the demo.
Oh let me try it, what minute of the video are you looking at?
Oks, I just tried on the Demo and it works, is only on counterhit, so if you throw crouching medium punch into ex hashogeki, it will connect as a counterhit if they attempt to throw a button, I forgot to add is only on counterhit but this will be very common because after your crouching medium punch, you are 0 on block so the opponent will try a crouching LP to stop the presure but if you throw your ex hashogeki then you will catch them :)
# ryu corner anti air 11:22
Yeah I believe is better to just antiair and not let them get out of the corner lol
@@scorpfgcsv i like what you did there with the side switch after the uppercut. i can't get the crouch heavy to consistently anti air but gotta practicfde more
Idk I could be wrong but I have different data from the sf6 wiki
I might be wrong, I compared it with the demo vs cracked but I will know for sure this weekend's open beta to see if the frame data is still the same.
Good guide, but why are you calling light and heavy punch low and high? Very confusing.
Sorry I made that mistake but I corrected it in the future videos lol sorry again 🙏😁
I think this frame data might be a little off. Are you playing the cracked version?
Well I tested in both and so far Ryu and Luke seem to have the same frame data but I might be wrong, I will take the time to compare everyone's frame data in the upcoming open beta.
This the beta version? Ryu has some changes in the demo...most of this probably still applies though 🤔
I have played the demo and yes, this still applies 😁
What are the differences from the beta to the demo?
Is this an a.i voice?
Yes lol I might make future videos with my own voice but for now since i am starting, I dont wan't you guys to hear my STRONG accent lol
good stuff, but stop calling heavy buttons highs pls
Sorry lol I corrected that in the last videos 😂
This is super good! I’m ready!! DOUBLE REPPUKEN!! 😅🫡
lol thanks :)
