It doesn't matter what neighbor's think. most people have cold hearts and will not give you the time of the day so why worry about what they think of you.
This is such a touching and terribly tragic story. Akasha seemed to be such a beautiful, gifted soul. What a horrible loss. We all need to get over our fears and the harm that such damaging stigmas have created throughout society. If you see someone hurting, REACH OUT to them. If you are hurting, REACH OUT TO SOMEONE...ANYONE that will hold you accountable to start taking strides to heal with the help of healthcare providers. Its not fun, believe me, I have been there. But, its necessary. Never take anyone or anything for granted. Never put off checking on someone that may desperately need your help. You never know when that "next day" will never come and you were too late. OX
Well if u accepted ur son as ur daughter things should have been diffrent... Accepting his sexuality and still call him a son and use god sent u down so ur my son doesnt make him feel u fully understood that he wants a male partner,
Wait...Did I miss something?? I thought that it mentioned that Akasha was in turmoil regarding his sexuality, not his gender identity... is that right or did i totally miss that (which is totally possible).

Yes, mental health is a very big stigma and if you ask and Indian person what mental health illness is they will not know.
