Lol thanks 🙏🏼
This video is so helpful 🙌, thank you for making it. I'm going this weekend.
You’re welcome. Have fun this weekend and let me know how it goes plz.
Great video. I took that tram in 1977 and we backpacked about 2 miles in the winter and camped in the snow overnight. It's amazing how that tram station and restaurants are an oasis of civilization in the middle of nowhere where one would least expect it. In years prior my family and I would spend 3 days backpacking from Idylwild to the 10,000-foot peak and back. One time my dad and I were resting and gasping for air on the steep, hot trail with heavy backpacks when we saw a tiny silver dot moving in the distance. We eventually realized that it was one of the tram cars making it's way up the mountain. The thought of having a fancy meal and a quick, scenic ride down was almost unbearable at the time as we still had several steep miles of climbing.
Wow. Thanks for sharing your tram and hiking experience.
I did the tram in 1978 as a YCC Cali State Park Forest Ranger. Tram was scary, all 30 of us with heavy packs on. Spent two weeks up there. Building trails and such.
@@barkmark4479 Yes, it's a scary ride, especially the old, smaller cars. The tram station at the top is beautiful and very cozy. I've always wondered if any staff or management lives up there in apartments/hotel rooms.
So informative! Thank you so much. Now I can let my husband know about the NO DRONES... thank you guys
You’re welcome 😊

OMG the last time I went and did ride to the top often was in the 80-90s and it changed a lot even at the top there was barely nothing!
Great video like it 👍 👌 😊
I loved living in Palm Springs. I loved going up the tram in the winter. Me with a coat and pants and a bunch of Canadians in shorts and tee shirts looking at me like I'm the idiot. Sure it's 72 in Palm Springs, but it's winter at Mountain Station. 🤣
Thank you for the info. Great video too.
You’re welcome and thank you 🙏🏻
that was soooo informative!
Thank you 😊
I just did a vlog from when I was in Palm Springs! My favorite place is The Melwyns for cocktails! Have a good day

No problem
Buen video, muy informativo
Very informative.
Thank you
Nice review ❤
Caesar -- THANK YOU for this great video -- it was so informative and professionally done. Things are quite different these days because of Covid. Thanks! BTW, DUMB QUESTION: do you know if the doors open automatically or does the guide work the controls in that center booth? Wondered if they made that possible due to health restrictions.
You’re welcome. I went recently and will b uploaded a video soon but yes things are definitely different. The controller in the center does all that good stuff. Have fun out there.
I love it.i want to go again
Yes. Great spot
Cutest couple ever
I went here, but I don’t recommend if you hate ears popping. Once we went down my ears couldn’t hear and they started popping like crazy and then the pops started to hurt. Fun tho
I never had that issue but thanks for sharing
Very informative thanks
You’re welcome Aaron!
Nice content 👍
Thanks
You’re welcome!
The TV show Mannix brought me here the first episode the tram way involved making a payoff to a kidnapper
Me, too! I just saw that 1967 episode. I took that tram in 1977 and we backpacked about 2 miles in the winter and camped in the snow. Our water bottles froze solid in our tents. I was sure glad to get back to the tram station the next day.
And also the episode of Columbo, called "Short Fuse," with co-star Roddy McDowall, feature the Palm Springs areal tramway very prominently throughout the episode.
Good info video
Thanks 🙏🏻
Great video.
Thank you!
Do you know whether it's possible to carry a mountain bike on the tram and ride it down?
I like your vids
Thank you!!!
Caesar Cinema you’re better than me
Do you have a tram video?
If you don’t prebuy because the online tickets were sold out, will you have to wait hours to get on a tram if you just turn up and buy tickets on the day?
Was the ride bumpy going up there?
You pronounce San Jacinto like it sounds in spanish. It seems you're a Latino aren't you?? Me gustaba su video y quiero visitar este sitio con mi mujer UN DÍA. Me parece es un lugar extraordinario aparte me gusta California.
which month did yall go...considering going this month when in town.
is this before corollies 19?
thanks for the video..is the schedule year round 10am start , every 10m?
It depends on the session and how many people they have riding that day. To maximize your trip you should check the website
What about going back down? Can you go back down on the tram at anytime or do you have to hike back down? No ever talks about the way back down
Yes you take the tram back down.
Excellent video thank you price for senior?
Yup. No problem
They have the same rotating gondolas in Switzerland.
Nice. I’ll have to check it out when I go.
Are there medal detectors?
🏅 ?
Is there a picnic area at the bottom of the tram?
There is benches for sure. I don’t remember a picnic area.
how much was the combo ride and dine?
$36 for adults
How about Dog, is ok to take my dog?
Service animal are allowed on the tram but they cannot go in the wilderness area past the bottom of the hill at the end of the trail.
@@CesarCinema i will go tomorrow, thank for the info;
Snow 😰😰
Charging for parking is a rip-off. That is a deal breaker for me.
