If you had pulled over to your right just after that second water crossing and walked a short trail back, you would’ve come to a wonderful waterfall and pool.

Jones Creek is a nice place to camp in all honesty but you have to get there early to get a spot, and it’s free.
We got there on a Friday and there were only 2-3 spots left. We liked ours at the very end of the road.
