In Benson, one character went to court to fight a traffic ticket, and brought a toy radio control car to demonstrate, but only succeeded in making the judge's hearing aid go haywire.

I'm a physical therapist, and I used this idea to try to expose a worker's comp patient of mine I'm pretty sure was faking his hip pain in order to get out of work. I had done an ultra sound treatment on him, and as I walked away, I purposely missed the laundry bin when I threw the towel I used on him. Just like I thought he would do, he easily squatted down to pick it up for me and put it in the bin (which, given his supposed hip pain, should not have been so easy to do). I told his worker's comp adjuster the story, and they STILL authorized him for more physical therapy! Only in America
The classic in this field is when insurance investigators leave a case of beer on the front porch of a guy who supposedly has a serious back injury (for which he's claiming compensation). Usually the guy bends right over, picks up the heavy case and takes it inside - all of which is captured on video by the investigator, of course!
From the car diagram, I cannot make sense of how the accident happened! Why would she back into him, when she only had to drive forward to get out of the space? ... unless something was blocking her way forward??

All that would likely happen after Mike pulled that stunt would be that Mr. Duggan wouldnt be awarded any medical damages as it relates to his alleged whiplash. It wouldn't necessarily, by itself, win the case for the Bradys. Also just as Mr. Duggan was reprimanded for trying to perpetrate a fraud on the court; the judge would also have reprimanded Mike for grandstanding and for pulling an underhanded stunt. That said; I don't think Mr. Duggan really proved his point during this hearing; regardless of all this stuff; so I think he still would have lost. (Unless the judge was prejudiced or something..)

Duggan is on an episode of Andy Griffith, posing as a father of a woman, (whom he's actually married to), to swindle Barney into a breach of promise suit. He's in another episode of the Brady Bunch entitled "Double Parked".
It is possible that injuries can appear after the accident. But he makes it out like it's her fault. And by the way, Bob Jones, I'm a woman driver. No, I'm not a perfect driver, but gender does not make a good or a lousy driver. Where do you get off making such comments? Maybe, you're joking, but even if that remark was just a joke, it was nasty and unnecessary.
This was one of the best episodes. I love the way the judge gives the fraud Duggan at the end as he starts to rip up the paper.

When I became an insurance adjuster 27 years ago I actually recalled this episode as I came across many Duggar’s out there.
I had an accident a few years ago which the other driver was clearly at fault. She was just like Mr Duggans. Lie and deny.
