I'm a physical therapist, and I used this idea to try to expose a worker's comp patient of mine I'm pretty sure was faking his hip pain in order to get out of work. The classic in this field is when insurance investigators leave a case of beer on the front porch of a guy who supposedly has a serious back injury (for which he's claiming compensation). Mrs. Brady should've called a lawyer to kick Mr. Duggan's ass. Court proceedings such as this aren't as simple as one would like to believe in real life.
The judge is Malcom Tucker, whose car broke down in Mayberry on a Sunday and nobody would fix it, and Mayberry's slow pace upset him on Andy Griffith. When Mike drops the brief case, the Bailiff in the background is trying not to laugh. Duggan is on an episode of Andy Griffith, posing as a father of a woman, (whom he's actually married to), to swindle Barney into a breach of promise suit.
