Yes, but it irritates me some that Chet calls his father Dougo and not Dad. It’s probably not a big deal to the younger crowd but I’m an old man and it just bothers me.
@@Ed_in_MdI think he calls him dougo for the videos bc that's what they fans know him as but I agree it would feel weird calling my dad by name instead of dad
Just love watching the Father Son relationship, Dougo is so fortunate to have Chet who handles the tech stuff and gets everything organized to keep this huge operation moving forward everyday from the diggers to Eric spreading getting the fields prepped for planting pretty awesome to see it all come together. The new sprayer water trailer setup how kool is that all designed to be more efficient to save time and labor well done guys even converting the old hog barn into a seed and chemical storage facility now that's using what you have already and making it useful again another job well done just love the channel never miss a new video always fun and educational all at once LOL
I like watching you and dougo testing on new stuff, dougo cracks me up though, because his eye's get this really boyish happy look, it's great. G-d bless, hope ya don't catch the brody crupe, and i hope he gets to feeling better.
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Wow. That new high speed planter is very nice from what you showed us. The new technology built into this planter is just great. From what you and Dougo said you like the planter a lot and also the tractor. Work a deal with them guys. Beautiful piece of equipment. Thanks for showing it to us. Sorry that Brody is sick with the flu. Hope he is able to make it back to work. Need him at planting time. Take care Brody. About it I guess. Nice new planter you showed us with the best of options on it. Thanks Chet. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Hey , That was a great segment. Just remember the more gadgets and glitz you have on these things , the more things go wrong. I like simple stuff. Really enjoyed the conversation you had with your dad. Sorry Brody, get better and where oh where is the big Swede and I hope Toby is doing well.
I hope you enjoy having your Grandma and Grandpa around to help. But it must be important to spend time with them. Don't take it for granted. They have seen so much in their lives.
I'm very far behind in watching your videos but I'm getting caught up. Really enjoyed watching you and your dad riding together and discussing the demo. Great. God bless!
I feel bad for Brody and his daughter. I came down with the flu the day before Memorial Day. Ruined my whole weekend. I’m still all messed up from it. Get to feeling better Brody and daughter! Lovin the demo. Nice looking combo
Dougo got a new toy this is funny I just watch welker's farming video now I watched your video and you both left us hanging just when it was getting exciting hope Brody and his daughter feel better soon
That was a great video to watch of you guys, just the excitement and both of your voices was right on, I sent a text to a guy that I help farm and told him that he had to watch this video. Thanks again guys. !!!🇺🇸
Tell u Chet u know how to work with organized planning nice to see now a days! Ur dad did well teaching u ! An u have two good side kicks that know what they’re doing with out u holding their hands god bless 🙏🏻
I am amazed at how simple you both make this look. Your in a whole other world from what I grew up in. 430 put put John Deere was our big tractor. Thanks for showing us how hard you all work to get it done and I do appreciate the opportunity to watch you.
Chet you guys get to have all the fun. Mean and Green!!! The last tractor I planted with was a 4010 John Deere trike front end and 30-inch 8 row planter lol.
Fascinating technology, being a "'button pusher" seems a required skill for today's modern farmer, all the while maintaining the traditional skill set; this father and son team compliment each other very well..
Hope Brody's feeling better soon! Love all of your videos! Well, just imagine having the flu and trying to plant a field on an open-station tractor with a much smaller planter....THAT would be rough!
Kibble must love you guys, you have the most acreage and use the most equipment of any of the RUclips farmer/ranchers I watch. Dougo got the Planter dirty, isn't everything at Larson Farms clean...
U said that the closing wheels were ripping up the ground. He in the sandy river bottoms in Kansas we use to take all the pressure off our closing wheels so we wouldn’t rip the seed out. The slit would actually be left open. Seed grew just fine, crazy
I wanted to touch on Dougo story about the 80” of Snow your area received this past Winter. I live North of Flint Michigan almost Directly East of your area we Only received just a mere 24” last Winter and fairly Warm Winter. The Jet Stream must have stayed over your area. We needed the Moisture terribly bad now.
Great videos. I dont know how you do the shooting and edit every day. When i hear the name of your deere dealer, Kibbles i think of the dog food Kibbles and Bits. LOL
Only thing I can think of that's worse than the flu in the spring, is pneumonia in the summer. Yep done that back around 2008. Awesome video Chet. DougO' was looking happy running that tractor. 🚜🚜🚜
When we played with the high speed planters, we ran test plots at different speeds from 6 to 17.4mph. Oddly enough, we found no significant difference in yield once the planter was up to speed.
To keep that hose in check put a piece of flat steel on both sides of the draft tube with bolts sandwiching them together and lay the hose In between them
Nice looking setup Kibble got you. On the planter hose that pinches when you fold the planter, could you maybe small weld a homemade little saddle bracket on the inner side of the tube frame to hold it in place?
I would take tyres over tracks any day lads. I was silly and watched cole the winge bag try to run a planter with his lack of experience. Thank you for showing us just how good Deere is. JD to plant. Claas to harvest. Try a lexion.
Great Video guys..looks like your buying a new new tractor and planter...Duggo's got that look...and im not talking about the "disturbing one" lmao !! Keep Rockin Fellas !!!
I actually plant corn always on 7-10 cm, about 3-4 inch, since we often have birds, who pull out young plants to eat the rest of the cernel. But if we plant deep enough the cernels rip of by pulling the plant and the birds loose interest. But probably its just a german thing. We also do everything with 4 wheel drive tractors since we do a wide span on tasks with each tractor, especially slurry and silagetransport are nicer with tires. We also rarely run duals since they are not allowed on streets, so we do wide Single tires with low air Pressure.
The best thing about this video is the father and son relationship awesome 👍
They are the best duo lol
You know that is so totally accurate and awesome
Yes, but it irritates me some that Chet calls his father Dougo and not Dad. It’s probably not a big deal to the younger crowd but I’m an old man and it just bothers me.
Don't you have ant fertilizer storage on the farm? Get some stainless bins onsite. Don't run into town Dail except for emergencies. 18:17
@@Ed_in_MdI think he calls him dougo for the videos bc that's what they fans know him as but I agree it would feel weird calling my dad by name instead of dad
Give Brody some slack , he deserves it !
What a trooper Brody , get better soon 🚜

Dougo looks well at home on the wheeled tractor, big smile on his face said it all, great video again guys 👍🏻👍🏻
I want to take a minute to tell you I love your videos can't wait to see new ones everyday. Thank you very much guys
Dougo seemed excited about his sandwich, too!
I like watching you and dougo testing on new stuff, dougo cracks me up though, because his eye's get this really boyish happy look, it's great. G-d bless, hope ya don't catch the brody crupe, and i hope he gets to feeling better.

Doug was excited to be back in a tired tractor, bringing back memories
Looks like a new planter is in the works
Or at least a new new messaging seat tractor for Dougo!!
Hey Chet. In the last video you said to remind you to buy keyless gas caps or something for the truck with the seed tender. Remember to do that.
Thanks for another great video.
It was interesting and enjoyable.

You and Dougo…relationship goals!

I'm very far behind in watching your videos but I'm getting caught up. Really enjoyed watching you and your dad riding together and discussing the demo. Great. God bless!
Had a neighbor farmer that would farm between the right of way and highway. That was back in the smaller equipment days.
I love the positive energy at the very beginning of the video
I feel bad for Brody and his daughter. I came down with the flu the day before Memorial Day. Ruined my whole weekend. I’m still all messed up from it. Get to feeling better Brody and daughter!
Lovin the demo. Nice looking combo

Nice pod cast
Favorite time of the year for the videos. Harvest is cool but planting is organized chaos!!
That was a great video to watch of you guys, just the excitement and both of your voices was right on, I sent a text to a guy that I help farm and told him that he had to watch this video. Thanks again guys. !!!🇺🇸

Another great video. A lot of tech on that machine.
Kinda want to say it’s just a planter but wow what a planter!
You are very knowledgeable about all of today’s modern equipment. Always very interesting keep making American Farmers the best in the world.
You have great help with your employees 👍
Team Larson Farms! 💪👍🏼
TEAM LARSON CHET YOU ARE AN ALSTAR 👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I can see the love between you and Dougo it's so nice to see great job Chet have a great day.
Chet you guys get to have all the fun. Mean and Green!!! The last tractor I planted with was a 4010 John Deere trike front end and 30-inch 8 row planter lol.
That green sure is pretty along with the price tag .

Kibble must love you guys, you have the most acreage and use the most equipment of any of the RUclips farmer/ranchers I watch.
Dougo got the Planter dirty, isn't everything at Larson Farms clean...
Do they seed 40,000 acres? Didn’t think so
That dirt is so perdy!! 😮😊
I will pray for Brody.
Good show
Chet Dougo great job great explanations thank you for sharing and your time was really great never miss a video and can't wait for next video.
Great content!! Now thats how you show off a demo!!!!
U said that the closing wheels were ripping up the ground. He in the sandy river bottoms in Kansas we use to take all the pressure off our closing wheels so we wouldn’t rip the seed out. The slit would actually be left open. Seed grew just fine, crazy
New video editing style is awesome!
Awesome explanation of the difference between the tractors and planters

Hi 👋

Awesome video Chet. DougO' was looking happy running that tractor. 🚜🚜🚜
Thank you very much
I'd describe Dougo as nervously confident with the new equipment -- be interesting to see after the demo!
Get well Brodie.....
Wow, what a great video. Explaining the new planter. Love to watch it. Brady get well soon. Great to see Dougo run the new planter. Succes.
Front wheel assist all the way!! 🤛🏽

Awesome video with Dougo!
Same set up planter tractor than Trippy Farmer !!!
And he loved it !!!
So his nick name now is "Dirty Dougo"😆 Thanks for your vids. The Ole Fella from Downunda.💝
nice production values
Welllp!(my grandpas word)...Lets make the push to a million subscribers so we can get ya the new planter🤙😎🤙
Good stuff guys 👍👍👍👍👍 love to see Dougo And Chet interact in these videos.
When we played with the high speed planters, we ran test plots at different speeds from 6 to 17.4mph. Oddly enough, we found no significant difference in yield once the planter was up to speed.
To keep that hose in check put a piece of flat steel on both sides of the draft tube with bolts sandwiching them together and lay the hose In between them
Go for an 8R410 with LSW’s if you want a really smooth ride and very little compaction.
Is Clay editing your videos? Whoever it is, they are doing a great job!
Hey Chet I had a question, so I’m a taller man and was wondering if you could make some more merchandise in TALL sizes. Thanks love the videos!
Really like the new sweatshirts!
Love the longer videos.
I hope Brody is feeling better! Excellent video edits on the montage. 👏👏👏👏
Awesome video!
You should try the IH planter Iverson farms has a new one other then the tracks on there they really like there's

Nice equipment for dougo 😊
Cool editing on the montage! Feel better Brody!
I was looking forward to the learning part lol
Also love this new video every day 👍🏻👍🏻

Live 24/7 dugo tractor cam would be funny
