Dan McCarthy & Friends - Vivaldi Viola d’Amore Concerti

Vivaldi uses the unique tuning of the viola d’amore to masterfully create concerti that are elegantly virtuosic. He was known to perform on this instrument throughout his life possessing an intimate feel for the charmingly seductive sound of the baroque viola d’amore. Dan McCarthy and his colleagues will play in public these rarely heard pieces including the double concerto for viola d’amore and lute.
