It's clearly difficult, but he plays with apparent ease. Which is just amazing. Mastery of the music, mastery of the instrument. What a joy to see. What an ensemble.
I have the very highest regard, respect and immense enjoyment of Joscho's playing. He performs with such phenomenal feeling, poise, technique, timing and commanding confidence. Bravo all three of you.

Samoreau hat mich dieses Jahr sehr motiviert. Ich freue mich schon auf nächstes Jahr. Dabei ist es noch sehr lange hin. Wir haben im Oktober noch ein kleines Festival in München (Gipsy Jazz Tage München). Ich denke ich werde dort hinfahren. Sie haben eine tolle Besetzung dieses Jahr.

Je pense qu'il est amoureux de sa contrebassiste pour jouer aussi bien.
Blague à part, Josho est phénoménal, et sa contrebassiste a une aisance incroyable. Elle ne semble pas fournir le moindre effort. En plus elle est très belle et souriante. Un plaisir pour les yeux et les oreilles.

Eso es solo una demostración de velocidad, Cacho tirao, volaba mas que muchos, y escuche esas bellesas que tocaba. Ese guitarrista lo que hiso fue darme sueño. No logró impactarme. Eso no es ser un buen guitarrista.

Joscho---I think you're a great virtuoso. But what makes you think you can play Piazzolla, knowing nothing about Argentine tango and possessing 1/10th of his creative genius? Embarrassing. And YOU should know better. You DO know better. Argentine tango is another creative universe and you, who dominate Jazz Manouche like practically no-one, know this, too. Your "Hey Joe" isn't much better----want to play blues, dude? You have the chops, without question. The soul? I'm not so sure. Get real. And, personally, I adore your playing and mastery of various idioms. Before bashing me----listen to Oblivion. It doesn't need a half-hearted improvisation----it's perfect as it is. Kinda like what Miles said about Wayne Shorter's greatness----let it be, doesn't need your educated improv. See it for what it is!!! I hope to get to know you, even play with you. I bow down before your mastery----but: GET REAL DUDE!!!!!
I hope to play and enjoy all kinds of genres (and mix them and play them with my own cultural background) whatever level I am at that moment. And I hope I never have to listen to this kind of poison to spoil the fun. The critic that you must play Piazzolla a certain way, is exactly the kind of critics that Piazzolla himself had to put up with in his time. I'm glad he didn't listen.
