For anyone who comes along to this late, like me...i discovered that the thin, glossy, high-heat tolerant baking sheet, which many crafters use as a base for various projects and hot glue, inking, etc., is excellent as a carrier sheet for laminator projects. So here, where June uses baking (parchment?) paper, the craft sheet can be used. I've had success trying it as a single layer and folded in half with the lamination sheets inside. So if you have two pieces of laminator sheets without a sealed edge, the silicon type plastic looking baking mat fixes the issue. Of course I learnt this after jamming my laminator up and taking it apart to remove the jam. 😊
I use the same - parchment baking paper. I line the ‘cut to dize’ sheets with index weight cardstock for stability. I can process embossing powder using this method. I bought the brand recommended carriers and haven’t needed them.
Fantastic idea June, I've been playing today with my laminator and one sided using paper die cuts and I wasted so much. This is so timely as I was going to do a quick tutorial on Sunday 😊 now I'm going back to play some more! Thank you xx
I dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know a way to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb lost my password. I appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Emmitt Keaton Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Hi June, I just found you and subscribed right away! It great to watch another left-hander at work and your ideas will be so useful. My husband died a year ago and to help myself to deal with my loss I am rediscovering art and trying everything that takes my fancy. I worked as a graphic designer and I am now enjoying the freedom of experimenting with watercolour abstracts. I have loads of ideas floating round my head and create many small drawings and paintings that I don't know what to do with. Watching your video has given me some great ideas. Thank you so much. Watch this space! :)
Sorry to hear about the death of your husband and hope you are doing ok. I do find art is one of those things that you can just become absorbed in. Looking forwards to seeing some of your ideas.
Fab tutorial thank god I found you hun hardly any wastage at all and you don’t need to use a full a4 laminating sheet thank you for sharing I will defiantly be giving this a go x
Sorry if I’m being thick, are the inks put on the outside not inside of laminator sheet? I love the idea of doing this idea for bookmarks for children.
I love my laminator machine too. Thanks for giving us some new ways to use it. Just subscribed. I'll give you a shout-out on my channel when I try these tips.
I have but it doesn't stick very well to fabric. I was thinking of using a glue stick and see if that will hold it better in place. I'll do a demo on my channel if you care to watch.

Brilliant! Thanks for sharing and helping us save our lost pouch. Yes would love to see how to do the pocket!
I'm always so afraid of lifting that I never tried one-sided lamination, but I'm feeling brave now. Love these experiments ♥

Every time you cut with the scissors towards your fingers makes me nervous , but love your video. ❤️
What kind of paper is the one you put to cover the laminating sheet, is that freezer paper, baking paper?
Baking paper
Clever…thx
Hello, I'm a first time watcher. Is the paper that you're using is what we call in the U.S. waxed paper or parchment paper?
It looks like parchment paper
