@Atkascha totally agree, their football won't suit him either, it's a gamble he's done here, LW would have got him improving more and more, daft move on his part but previous managers have ducked him about putting in positions that don't suit him maybe in his head he's seeing at as a bigger chance to expose himself higher up for the big contracts, risky!
Sorry to see you go. Thanks for what you did at Notts but…, no disrespect, why Oxford? I’m sure they’re the sort of club that will look after you but maybe you feel you couldn’t live up to the hype at a supposedly bigger club like Derby etc? Either way, good luck.
I love how all the comments about oxford being a bad choice 12 months ago have aged! Not an oxford or notts county fan, but you have to say by summer '24 he had made a pretty fantastic decision!
Daft move for him, I think the money must blind these players and the agents also putting the dreams in players heads too 😡 all our players have improved because of the manager, you take away the manager and the strong team around the players and they'll drift back to average players 😔 I'm so annoyed he's gone! I wish him all the best but the interviews before the end of the season told me enough.
