For me, taking the Biblical truth that God didn’t give us a spirit of fear and applying that into actual life means acknowledging who did give me that spirit of fear (the enemy) and what door he used to access my mind. Close the door and flee from the door. Then the next time the enemy opens the door to cause fear in you again, you aren’t there you have fled and the fear has no entry. We must take every thought captive! Thank you Lisa!

Such a beautiful family culture is developed through read alouds. My kids have a whole sibling language because of the beautiful books we have read. And just to mention that audio books are an amazing resource. I have trouble reading aloud, it drains me. But scrib'd has wonderfully read books of all genres. We have read so many books just on the trips to and from town.
Yes!! I was about to say social media! That makes my heart hurt to see mothers who do “so many other things” than I do, and it’s like wow! What if my kids aren’t happy. What if I’m screwing up my kids life?!?
Loved this so much! I read her book this summer and was so encouraged by it. This interview made me want to re-read it!
Fears don't end. Adult children bring fears too. Even when they've left home. Here is where you really discover the impact of your child raising and what you wished you'd done different and what you're thankful you did the way you did.
