The machines with power cables have somewhere on them at the base of the cable with a "Retract" action, which when used puts the plug back in that spot against the machine. It's like how the portable gasoline generator by the hole has a thing on one end with an "Activate" action to turn it on and off. (You gotta fuel it up by pouring gasoline from a can into the nub on the top, which also shows the fuel level if you hover over it)
Thank you for telling me! I knew that the microwave and battery charger had that feature, but I didn't know that it was also applied to the frame. Also thank you for telling me that the generator, I already knew how to fuel it but I didn't know about the activate button.

So, 3 weeks later, how well does this work? Like it seems like a heavy investment but what are estimated speeds? How many GPU can you safely run per fan? Is there a good starting point to aim for before it begins to pay for itself?
Take what I am about to say with a grain of salt, because I don't have the most extensive knowledge about the miners. So, after a few hours of testing, 1) It works surprisingly well, especially for passive income. Mine is maxed out in terms of gpus and coolers and produces about 500 points a day. The profits increase exponentially with each gpu added, but it is a heavy investment in the early game. I would recommend getting an omega kerfus and some computer upgrades before investing in a miner. This is primarily because of the bonuses that Bao gives out weekly for good performance, which can range from 300 to 900 points alone. Also don't forget to clean up and ship out the trash piles for good starting cash. 2) There is not a preset time between each point gained that decreases with each gpu added (btw there can either 1 or 2 points given per gain, but I don't think that's dependent on amount of gpus). Instead there is a random range of time between points being rewarded. Each gpu decreases the maximum amount of time there can be between each point gain. For example, at 1 gpu there can be anywhere from 2 seconds to 1min, 30 seconds between when a point gains, where as at 16 gpus there can be between 2 seconds to 16 seconds wait times. 3) First things first about the fans, DO NOT LET THE GPUS OVER HEAT. If the temperature hits 100 each gpu will explode one by one. To my knowledge there is no way to stop this once it begins. so just don't let it happen. The maximum amount of gpus per fans is kinda weird because it is somewhat random when temperature increases. Sometimes it will out pace the fans and other times it won't. So the following are more of recommendations rather than hard rules. Without any fans you can run up to 6 gpus safely. One fan increases this cap to 8 gpus, two fans fans have a cap of 10 gpus, three fans have a cap of 12 gpus, four caps increases the cap to 14. You only need 5 fans to reach the maximum 16 gpus, but this seems to come at the cost of efficiency. 4) I think efficiency both influences cooling as well as the wait time, but it's hard to do extensive tests due to over heating cutting experiments short. In a test with two miners (both having 16 gpus, but one has 6 coolers and the other one having zero coolers) the miner without fans seemed to lag behind one fans by roughly thirty point, but it's possible that this is due to the randomized wait times rather than efficiency. Also the one without coolers exploded after reaching forty points. Efficiency starts at 10% without any fans and increases by 15% with each fan. This caps at 100% efficiency at 6 fans. 5) In one of my test runs, I let 5 miners (each with 6 coolers) run for 24 hours, at the end, the miner with... i] 1 gpu earned 33 points ii] 4 gpus earned 111 points iii] 8 gpus earned 275 points iv] 12 gpus earned 384 points v] 16 gpus earned 571 points It seems from this run, that 8 gpu may be a good point to start from if you want it to pay for itself off the bat, but that could have been a lucky run. I'm sorry for how long this was and for any mistakes that may exist within.
