Vishva Chetana Swami Vivekananda Statue | Inaugural Ceremony | KSRDPR University

World's tallest satue "Vishwa Chetana Swami Vivekananda" with a height of 39.5 feet, representing the 39.5 years of Swami Vivekananda's glorious life span has been installed at the University's 'Grama Gangotri', Naagavi Campus, and will be inaugurated on 11 September 2024, at 11.00 am which coincides with the day when Swami Vivekananda delivered his ground breaking speech to the World’s Parliament of Religions in the year 1893.
Attempt is made to instill the ideals of this great personality in the minds of the students studying in the University, by installing his statue. It is a matter of happiness and pride for all of us that a mammoth statue of Swami Vivekananda has been erected in the University premises to promote Vivekananda's presentation in Karnataka and the country. This magnificent bronze Idol of Swami Vivekananda has been provided by the Swami Vivekananda Ramakrishna Mission, Calcutta. The rest of the works were executed in collaboration with the public and the University under the guidance of Swami Nirbhayanandaji of Vivekananda Ramakrishna Ashram Gadag, Dr. H.K . Patil Hon’ble Minister Law, Justice, Human Rights, Parliamentary Affairs and Legislation and Tourism and Gadag Dist. In charge Minister Govt. of Karnataka. and Shri D.R. Patil, former MLA Gadag and others.
