I have not been scammed but I know when a client is lying to me. My clients can simply say "I need to cancel my appointment", but often they are embarrassed to cancel. They seem to all use the SAME feeble excuse " I have an out of state family emergency". lol
I once spent a week going back and forth by text with a "potential client". I was almost ready to spend $300 to rent extra space to handle their (non-existent) job only to have them ask me to buy them an itunes gift card.
Did they originally post on a job board?

Hello Arvabelle, I have an unrelated question: I am holding some shares in one particular publicly traded company. They recently (a few months) has gone public. Right now there is no analyst who covers the stock. Why? most of the publicly traded company have a lot of analysts. Because this company has no analyst therefore it is not that visible to retail investors and institutions (And as a result, the stock price is VERY undervalue and daily volume around 1.5 to 2 mil.), even though to my opinion, the company fundamental is sound, if not great.
