I've never been a fan of opera but after many viewings, I finally understand what it is about Amira's performance that resonates so deeply, even beyond her exquisite voice - it is the mystical sincerity with which she projects and gathers me into her love of the music. . . all the more astonishing from a 9 year old child! Then the sweet innocence of her smile in response to the thundering ovation from the audience adds a perfect grace note to this moment of phenomenal beauty.
I too was not a fan of opera singers--- especially the female voices. But her first song at the age of 9 was beyond anything I've ever heard. In 2019 she is still in school. She is the perfect singer, with that unique voice no one can match or compete.

The judges got it right when they said she'd become a star. She has indeed become a world star.
Rainier Esguerra I still can't believe this, 9 years old, how on earth did she do it? The high notes she sings with no effort at all, no build up. A small Slim girl with so much power and at the end of this miracle, she goes back to being a nine year old child.

Kiedy zamknąć oczy, widzi się w wyobraźni młodą kobietę, ok. 20 lat z pięknym operowym sopranem, naprawdę pięknym, a nie takim ostrym, jak się zdarza u niektórych śpiewaczek. Kobietę, która wspaniale interpretuje bardzo trudną arię. Znacznie bardziej mi się podoba jej wykonanie niż znanych śpiewaków, np. wspaniałego skądinąd Pavarotti'ego. A gdy otworzy się oczy, widzi się drobną dziewięcioletnią dziewczynkę. To naprawdę CUD!

Hi, as a professionnal mixer in that industry, I used electronic meters to compare many young voices over all the young talents ever since. So I chose 25 singers around the world. Among the best to compare with Maria Callas with 145 points, Jackie Evancho was in 4th place with 135 points. Surprisingly, Angelina Jordan who won Norway Got Talent got 138 points for the third place. Then Amira got 144 points for the second place, meaning by the time she will be an adult, she will be the only young talent to surpass 145 points. Who will become the best of the best. ?
