I'm glad that someone finally did this, and I think you did it pretty well, Scootertrix! You got voice actresses that do the voices pretty well, some pretty good writing, and some nice splices for the editing, rather than it just being an AMV. If you want, I'd suggest you should do some more rap battles! I've got some suggestions for you, on that!

Also, we’ve seen writers say one thing only for it to be over turned later on. If a statement is not shown in the source material, then it’s not something I consider.
Both are great characters but I like starlight better, because sunset`s character seems a little rushed, starlight had a lot of time to develop and the way she reacts to various situations is realistic and makes a lot of sense. But they`re both rad! The voices were perfect for both! Sunset seemed to be better in rapping but I`m gonna support starlight!
Starlight seems rushed because she only needed 3 episodes to star in to turn good and showed more signs of keeping calm in stressful situations than twilight she had a little low amount of episodes she's the main focus up to that point so seems a little Mary sue ish while sunset needed a whole movie and see how her reputation gets better until she's very liked after that they still keep going with her with wall flower and her DEVELOPEMENT is complete

Sunset somehow figured out that Celestia was planning to make a new alicorn. Sunset demanded that Celestia do it NOW, so Sunset becomes Celestia's equal. Celestia says no, and that Sunset was no longer her student. So Sunset ran off through the portal that she was shown earlier that day. With no idea where said portal led. Both of their backstories are weak, but at least Starlight's back story was shown IN THE SHOW, and didn't require homework. In the movie, Celestia basically just said, "Sunset rejected my teachings of friendship, and left through the portal in search of power."
We only really know about Sunset being Celestia’s first failed student. With Starlight we even know where she grew up, a childhood friend of hers, and that she has at least one parent. Where’s Sunset’s parents? What was her life like before becoming Celestia’s student?

As for Starlight We first see her as a manipulative cult leader, we expected some grand reason for her bitter and ugly anger, but all we learned was that she's so pathetic that she couldn't get over a friend that moved away when she was a kid. Her weakness wasn't magic, it was her own pure stupidity of not knowing how to write a letter.
