i have just discovered this incredible channel. what a wonderful editing work. Congratulations. Im a film editor. Your cuts, rythm and structure are just incredible. Fan number one.
What, no Obi Wan waving his hand to Jedi mind-trick the stormtroopers, no Jack Byrnes doing the "I'm watching you" gesture in Meet The Fockers, no Spock "Live long and prosper," no "Choke yourself" from Full Metal Jacket, no Napoleon Dynamite doing "The Rose" in sign language, Turbo doing that pop & lock thing with his hands in Breakin', or "You complete me" from Jerry Maguire?
+Danny Richardson Those are some great suggestions! Yeah, some shots didn't work out as well I thought they might, I really wanted to use the Wrath of Khan scene, but it didn't play out as well as I thought it would, so it got cut. It was already getting too long, so I had to stop. Others I left out - My Cousin Vinny "Mrs Riley" scene, From Disk to Dawn (quentin's hand), etc, etc.
+Maël Bittner Yeah, I shoulda went with those, but I was already overloaded with Spielberg clips, (I think he's probably the director most represented here), so I cut that one, and I was gonna use the T2 thumb with all the other "water" ones, but it was just getting too long. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
I haven't seen those, but I just checked out a couple images and you are right, one of those crowd shots would have gone nicely after the CE3K upraised hands shot..
I only have two I'm afraid, the one with David Byrne and Rosanna Arquette that's on my you tube page, and one with Spaulding Gray and Jessica Harper that I transferred to DVD some time ago but not really sure of the quality. Couldn't be that one, could it?
Good Lord in heaven that's a lot of hands. Bravo. Movies are awesome.

Please make more videos, this is pretty epic. What a huge collection of great clips.

Nice video ! But tou missed E.T.'s glowing finger and Terminator' thumb up :)

brilliant !
I must say I was expecting a scene from Gattaca : the six fingers piano player or Uma Thurman loosening Ethan Hawk's hair.
congrats.
Jake and Elwood!!
How about the three-finger salute of solidarity from the Hunger Games series?
