Hi Alex, it does sound like a faulty LCD, but it is worth taking it apart and just checking the connections, also make sure you have the right LCD, check the number on your old one, and then make sure it is the same on the new one, i hope this helps, kind regards, Neill.
Hi, the white dot is a warranty sticker, basically Blackberry put it there so they know if someone has opened your phone other than them, the screw is under that white sticker, You can just push through the sticker or remove it then you will see the other screw, I hope this helps, and if you need anything else just ask, Kind regards, Neill.
Hi, No, there are 4 different LCD screen, if you have the 002/111 marked on your's then you must buy that one, if not then find the code you have, it's normally on the back, sometimes hidden under a sticker, please check the number before you buy a new one, as you have a good chance of buying the wrong LCD, i hope this helps, kind regards, Neill.

Hi, it sounds like the new LCD is damaged, the only other thing it can be is that you need one of the other coded LCD i.e. 001/111, when you took out your old screen did you find the serial number on it then purchased the correct screen? did you purchase it from us? if you did then contact customer services and they will be happy to help you, anyway it can only be one of these two reasons so I hope this helps, kind regards, Neill.
@IthyphallicDaryn The best thing to do would be put it back on ebay and then buy the right LCD, hopefully it will fix the problem, kind regards, Neill.
@RacerMK Hi, as far as i can see there is no way of removing the screen without breaking the LCD, now if you go to our website we do sell Black lens LCD and white ones, your only option is to change everything, if you want to spend that money anyway, but be aware that Blackberry made different LCD's for different counties, strange i know, but they have done it so if you do want to change yours over, please check what screen you need before you order, i hope this helps kind regards, Neill.
@IthyphallicDaryn Hi, i do know that different regions have different screens, so it is highly possible that this is your problem but there is a chance the hardware is faulty, did you buy the LCD from us? if so there maybe something i can do for you, let me know, kind regards, Neill.
Hi, My bold LCD screen was all white with coloured lines so I thought it must be a fault in the LCD, but I've now changed the LCD to a "004/111" but my normal screen was 002/111 ,and it's showing the same fault in the new screen, is it a hardware fault or is it just because I put a 004/111 screen into it?
Hi Will it look bad if i have a blackberry bold 9700 (color black) and just change the fascia to white but leave the screen black? please can you help me, thanks :)

How would you apply a new screen lens to the screen because I bought a blackberry which has a black screen but a white border.
