I dont think they invented the wheel (jl) but that didnt hold them back. Scratch Acid was probably more "out there" and i dont think much about Tool, either. Its nice when a band just does what they want, though.
Mike Patton from the king for a day (fnm) era onwards stole many ideas. He also stole a lot from this band. In fact he formed Tomahawk with his guitarist.
Aphex Twin first then Jesus Lizard. Now that’s a radio station. RIP John Peel!
Couldn't be done by anyone else, yet this is how all radio stations should be!
particularly excellent session... RIP John Peel
This was one of the best times for this band and it shows. One of my favorite Peel Sessions!
It's THE Jesus Lizard, John. THE Jesus Lizard.
It was a pleasure listening to this earlier. Thank you you for posting this Peel Session.
Can actually make out the words/grunts best in this version (of Puss). A+.all around!
Righteous. Thanks, man.

thanks!
👌
Never enough Jesus 🦎😝
Does anyone know the song at 4:42
It's Stick A Bush by The Gladiators. See www.discogs.com/release/2302397-The-Gladiators-Stick-A-Bush
I feel like Tool ripped these guys off...
tool were a mix of these, king crimson, and others
If you think tool ripped off the jesus lizard, you should check out the brothers quay and see how hard they ripped them off.
