8700K Delid & Relid Guide: The dos and don'ts

Time to delid the Intel 8700K to get better thermals! So take a look as I go step by step for my first delid on an 8700K and hopefully I'll teach you something from my experience.
Will I do a good job or will I mess it up? I'll probably mess something up ;-)
I'll also show temperature differences with the stock clock and my successful overclock at 5.1Ghz at 1.25 volts with an AIO cooler.
If you follow this guide please take into consideration that your results may vary.
Testing was performed on an open air test bench with ambient temperature being 22° C with the following hardware.
