They definitely could have played that better. They should have probably chained trouble sunny to the first dim pris, which would have let them out your monster with Sunny's non target send. Then they could pop your field on their turn and cut out all that advantage it gave you.
Should’ve shotgunned Trouble Sunny here - realistically, what else other than dimfis are you popping here? It’s not the highest value for the opponent sure, but you literally can’t do anything under it. And then they didn’t do it _again_ on the second dimfis. They easily would’ve won that if they made better decisions. But that’s what makes the deck fun, it’s not that easy to play because you need to ration out your limited interactions (people seem to think “do setup combo and play handtraps” is all there is to the deck lol); I guess the issue is that most good players eventually move on to better decks.
Funny thing is, I play against runik today and the man floodgate me with warlord+only one combo, and in the process, ended up floodgate himself because I only need 1 monster and he can't lava golem it because there's not enough monster to tribute
Now do Runick Cubic. It rhymes so it must be good, right? just run Duza x3, Vijam x3, Ascension x3, Unification x3, Karma and Wave depends. Don't add Crimson Nova because it's a liability. Plus, Dharma is a good draw effect if they Ashed your Field Spell.

I made a similar deck but made it using the Trickstars for burn along with the Runick mill.

i've done it, and it works to a point. i always end up running through my cubic engine before getting to the runick engine.

They couldn't Underworld Goddess unfortunately. The reason is because of their Evil Twin Quick Play. .-. Locked to Evil Twin Special Summon.
The live tein player could have outed the board by getting his second trouble sunny into the gy and then use his gy effect
