My personal favorites: GIMP for the heavy stuff. PhotoscapeX for most of the "cool image" editing, but I'm not a fan of its interface, it's kind of weird. Photopea works great for editing Photoshop files (I don't use Photoshop anymore), but I still have some PSD files and receive files from someone else. I think I've tried all the rest, except Krita, and for me they don't make the cut.
@@StewIsBest - RAW file is like a digital negative. When you take a picture with your digital camera, it saves it as RAW file rather then a JPEG. It is easier to edit a RAW file then a JPEG.
Please do a video for image/photo printing software/tools (precision printing?). i.e. being able to set specific params such as margin, image size, etc. Irfan View seems to be the the only one falling into this category that I've seen.
Just for an fyi. It doesnt look like the MS paint version in the vid works with windows 10. Mine still has the old laughable paint version and when I tried to get the new one from the MS store it said my windows version wasnt compatable. Booooo!
Thanks for watching! Hopefully this video helped you out. What photo editor is your favorite?
GIMP
Nice to see Photoscape back on the list!
Photopea does have a downloadable version. I have it on my PC.

thx Brett! Jesus and Gimp 4 the win!
I was looking forward to seeing a video about this topic. Thanks!
I would like to use Gimp but most of my photo's are in RAW files.
What are you using for RAW?

I absolutely love Krita!
