Paul Anka was 16 or 17 here, he also wrote songs for the likes of Tom Jones "She's a lady", Frank Sinatra "My Way", Connie Francis, Annette Funicello, co wrote with Michael Jackson "This is it", The Johnny Carson Show theme and so many more, and had so many hits himself. Such a talented singer/ songwriter I've seen Paul Anka 7 times 😊💞

When he hit the big time,in the late 50s and early 60s, there were women screaming, yelling and passing out like nothing We'd ever seen before. When he first Appeared on the Ed Sullivan show, the biggest variety show of the day, they wouldn’t show him from the waist down, because he shook his legs. I don’t wanna say anything about it it would take away from the authenticity of your reaction. I don’t know what you know about Elvis, but you won’t be sorry that your check them out.

@@MaddyReactions You might also like Tom Jones. There's a B&W YT clip from 1967 of him singing "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" that's good stuff. He could get pretty spicy too with his audience sometimes,, but in that one he just straight up sings.

Understand that what you're hearing is a recording, with Paul lipsyncing (just moving his mouth). Notice all the guys were dressed, most with ties. Girls, back then loved this interaction with the singers, some even fainted.
