A magnificent production, completely unknown so far. Krysanova and Chudin are both great, immensely talented and outstanding ballet dancers as well as very good actors. Thanks for unloading this gorgeous mise en scene.

Pur cogliendo nel suo sguardo un guizzo di malinconia vedo in lui, più che mai, un impareggiabile rappresentante della grande Scuola Russa del Balletto Classico.

The passage of time is a more inexorable challenge than ever for great dancers. Semyon Chudin also does not escape this challenge. But it doesn't come out a loser! However, his talent emerges. In maturity Semyon loses some of his sparkling enamel but gives the viewer the joy of detecting his wonderful and very personal stylistic class. While catching a flicker of melancholy in his gaze, I see in him, more than ever, an incomparable representative of the great Russian School of Classical Ballet.

Absolutamente todo es espectacular y, para mí, que visité en varias oportunidades la extinta URSS, el hecho de que estos sobresalientes intérpretes, provengan de la ciudad de Kazán, es una completa sorpresa. Lo único, muy mínimamente criticable, es que no traduzcan al elegante, distinguido y aplomado funcionario que nos brinda una extensa perorata en ruso.
The way the musicians play is so mechanical and emotionless. I don’t know whether it’s because of the conductor or the musicians but it’s a torture listening. This is so not the way to play Tchaikovsky…
It seems you know and are an absolute expert in conducting Tchaikovsky, Why don`t you go to live and establish permanently in Russia, specifically in Kazan in order to teach all those poor ignorant people how to listen and conducting Tchaikovsky?
Bardzo ładny balet. Szkoda że w Kazaniu mają tylko jedną kamerę. Przez to nie ma zbliżeń twarzy artystów. Źle się ogląda jak kamera raz się przybliża a raz oddala.
