@@rupeshmanandhar3782 pillion seat is not so comfortable you can go for 100 150 200 even 400+ kms with pillion but that depends on the condition of roads I had done 3/4 rides which was more than 300kms with pillion, so you can go for rides with a pillion if the road conditions is good then it will be a suitable ride if road conditions is bad then the ride will be slightly hectic..

If Suzuki had priced it more competitively, the Gixxer would have set the cash registers ringing. Near perfect motorcycle in the segment. Hope it sees better days in the future.

Hands down the Gixxer in all departments. The FZ is nowhere near the Gixxer as far as overall performance and involvement is concerned, but it is also very expensive for what it offers. So, the choice is yours.

I personally don't think this bike is value for money. Its on expensive side and one thing I am impressed with this bike is the rear tyre 140 section. That's cool. One question is there for you Nitish bhai. I have pulsar 180f bs4. So can I use thicker tyre in rear side? It's 120 section quite thick. But I want 130 or 140 section. Can I replace it?
Can you please do a comparison of Gixxer 155 BS6 vs FZS BS6 since both come in the same segment with similar power figures (especially the power to weight ratio), and similar features (same in case of tyres, ground clearance and close in terms of seat height, torque, etc)? How justified is the price difference between the two bikes and long term reliability?
Bro. In bs6, FZ V3 (12.4ps) and Gixxer (13.6ps), which is 1.2ps more than FZ. But the Gixxer is costly by around 11k on road price. I think Price difference is too much.
@@girishd5075 that's right bro but you see Gixxer is heavier (142 Kg) than FZS (137 Kg), with peak power and peak torque hitting at same RPM I think (8000 & 6000 resp.), so there won't be much difference in power to weight ratio. Hence, I would rather like to know the practical difference in the bikes accounting like comfort, long term reliability, maintenance, gear ratios, actual mileage (claimed doesn't always hold good, also personal handling matters), occasional touring characteristics etc.
@Suman Shekhar Right. I own a FZ V3 bs4, I am using it since Nov 2019. It is very comfortable for rider as well as pillion. Mileage: I always ride hard, I won't ride in economy mode. so I get 45kmpl in City riding. On highway, I got 49kmpl, with pillion, even though I was speeding at 80, 90 and sometimes 105+kmph . Gixxer pillion seat is not that comfortable, especially if you are a family man, need to think on this. Durability wise I guess both FZ and Gixxer are good.

Brother the Xpulse 200t is not yet available in the BS6 Avatar. You might as well wait for it or go for something like the RTR 200 or the NS 200 if your budget allows it. Test ride both and see which one you like the most. Otherwise, the 150 to 160 segment motorcycles like the RTR 160 4v or the Gixxer 155 should do. Have a nice day.

@@devildad7890 I fail to see how the NS 200 is better than the RTR 200 brother. Both bikes offer things that the other does not offer. The NS has more power and hence requires liquid cooling and the RTR does not require it. Moreover, the RTR 200 offers class leading features like dual channel ABS and slipper clutch, not to mention phone connectivity and a LED headlight. It has better build quality than the NS and also a shorter wheelbase. It is also lighter making it better than the NS in the city. So, since the person who asked this question has a requirement of riding in the city primarily, the RTR 200 is the clear choice here. Just my opinion.
Bike prices are sky rocketing. It was introduced at 1.0lacs exshowroom price. Now they've increased it by 12K again. They are looting people's money so badly. We are getting garbages for this huge price.

If your budget allows it then the RTR 200. Otherwise, the 160 is also a very good choice. You will get better mileage at the expense of power.

@@LetsTalk_by_SP if u want 200 cc bike then go for pulsar ns200 it gud for city as well as highway(better than apache 200 4v)...if u need 160 segment bike then you consider honda x blade bs6(for comfort in city ride,not recommended for highway),hero xtreme 160r (power is decent and budget friendly),suzuki gixxer(price is high compare to other bikes but gud for city ride),apache rtr 160 4v(feature loaded & little aggressive side),pulsar ns 160(naked beast, raw power bike)..chose wisely and replay which bike you like most...final choice is yours...I take my word back.😄😄

@@devildad7890 I fail to see how the NS 200 is better than the RTR 200 brother. Both bikes offer things that the other does not offer. The NS has more power and hence requires liquid cooling and the RTR does not require it. Moreover, the RTR 200 offers class leading features like dual channel ABS and slipper clutch, not to mention phone connectivity and a LED headlight. It has better build quality than the NS and also a shorter wheelbase. It is also lighter making it better than the NS in the city. So, since the person who asked this question has a requirement of riding in the city primarily, the RTR 200 is the clear choice here. Just my opinion.
