On the one hand, their economic system was one of the most complex in the world, which gave the Mycenaean's their livelihoods in an otherwise destitute Greece. On the other hand, this system depended on a stable status quo, which shattered with the entry of the Bronze Age people's. Very interesting, Mycenaean Greece is definitely overlooked compared to Classical Greece
Mycenaean lived on through classical Greece after their Civilization died. Greeks lived on through Rome after Greek lost influence over Mediterranean and Europe. Once Rome died it lived on through the Catholic Church and Medieval Kingdoms
I find it likely, or at least more than possible that while the Mycenaeans were involved in siege and plunder in other lands their slaves back home rose up and over threw their rulers, hince the Dorians were already there etc. Is a very good theory for at that time there was much raiding around the coasts etc. giving sufficient time for such an uprising, with most or part of the fighting men of Mycenae being gone at the time.
I like the lil avatar! One small nitpick, a few of the pronunciations you use, while perfectly acceptable in English, are less accurate to the original pronunciations than other commonly used English variants; Mycenae is more accurately pronounced "My-see-nee" (Or "My-key-nee" if you want to use a classical "C"), and the "K" in "Knossos" is not silent, with the original word being written "Ko-no-so" in Linear B. It doesn't really matter, but I wanted to add something more substantial than just "nice avatar" to my comment lmao

Epic
It’s not Nossos, it’s Knossos. You pronounce the K.
As far as I can tell, the K doesn't have to be pronounced.
@@ChronologyCast It is pronounced in greek as in "Κνωσός". Overall a good video with indepth insights .
