In 1975 I hitchhiked across Canada with a friend. We got a lift with a guy who had a CB radio. His call ID was "Little Romeo Honey Bucket". Will never forget that name. He was a sweetie too.

"Broadsword calling Danny Boy" is my ring tone. Its seems appropriate. 🤣

I highly recommend taking amateur radio licence to all preppers the foundation licence is fairly easy
There's a lot more to radio than just talking like antennas how to use repeaters ect
    Good video fella

In the event of an EMP those radios would need to be in a Faraday bag or they would fry, could you do a video on Faraday bags I wonder?

Leigh that was a good one. No operation or incident can be handled without Comms.

Great info. Will hopefully encourage more people to get familiar with the use of radio communications. This will be a critical tool when when mobile and landline phones etc have ceased to provide a service. When not in use protection from Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP)whether from nearby lightening strikes, Coronal Mass Ejections (CME)or high altitude nuclear bomb bursts (NEMP or HEMP; nomenclature is country dependent) is easily achieved by keeping crucial electronic kit like radios or Geiger Counters in a Faraday cage. The cage can be simple wrapping in aluminum foil or a metal or fine metal mesh container where all parts are electrically connected i.e. no paint or other form of insulation on the joints. See Wikipedia for more info on EMP, HEMP and CME. Nice one. G6EQJ

Really nice video, thank you. I loved that you did the review in such a lovely location. And now I know the reason you use such a long spoon in your food reviews..so you can get to the bottom of the bag!!😁

Shit Hits The Fan. A common term used by all survivalist/preppers all over the world describing a situation when things have turned rather rubbish. Hope this helps and thanks for watching
