My Gig Day Routine (Part 1)

From practice to lug out, I thought I would share what I do on the day my band has a gig and how I prepare my guitar and myself for the night ahead through to the actual gig. Part 1 covers my practice routine through to lug in. Part 2 will show set up to lug out with some live footage of us in action.

Pedal board!! I think you could sail the Pacific in that haha, it's huge! I could never do a gig without a spare guitar. I once had a bridge pick up give up during a gig; turned out that the contacts on the selector switch had corroded causing me to lose contact. Also when I snap a string I just swap guitars mid song. Fascinating stuff. I think that rest and recuperation period is key to having a good gig.
