Ladies while we're on the subject of donating to the homeless and we're mostly women, do you know the toughest problem homeless women face? Their Period. Yep, their period. No one ever thinks to donate tampons, pads, panty liners and such. Women have their period once a month. They're expensive. No facility gives out tampons or pads for free. They give out needles but not tampons. PLEASE DONATE TAMPONS AND PADS FOR OUR SISTERS. Thank you. xo Also when you leave a public bathroom, leave a tampon. It matters. Blessed be.

Our community is so blessed in that we have a local non-profit called the Homeless Period Project who does just this. It is such an awesome group of people and I am a proud volunteer with them!

We were at the bank this morning to get money to pay for my grandsons preschool (he is 5 and lives with us) he sees the construction guys working on the bank and says to me grandma we should get them some coffee it is a little chilly out. I proceeded to go across the street and get 5 large coffees and brought them back with him to give to them. He has such a big ❤️ he then said to them now don’t forget to say grace.

My daughter noticed a ittle girl wanted a drink at McDonald's and her mom said no , that they were sharing..
My daughter asked if she could give the little girl her chocolate milk ( unopened) and her and I share my drink. I said yes ..she went over and offered the chocolate milk and the mother snapped at her and said NO ! She told her daughter "you do that need that !! My daughter was embarrassed and it kind of scared her the way the mom snapped. I felt soo bad for my daughter and still do when I picture her little face walking back over to our table..such different emotion than what she was feeling going over to them.

@carol v. Because if you have a genuine Mulberry you know a fake from the tea thing. This one doesn’t sit like it should. More stiff. The leather is too shiny and tbh it looks cheap. But again, it’s a free bag so if she doesn’t mind then who cares 😁

That is fabulous! You are so inspiring! I discovered dumpster diving when my friend came over and handed me skin care I never heard of until I googled it and found out it was selling on ebay for 29.00 a bottle. Say WHAT?? We went back to the dumpster and found more goodies We founda a Kinsmark miniature cast iron cars kit of Porsches...one of them selling on ebay for 29.00. They threw out four boxes, but my friend picked up only one since he wasn't aware of its value. Well I think I just found myself another fun part time business!!

The Hong Kong $20 is older and in quite good condition and collectible. Don’t think it would be exchangeable since it appears to be pre-1997 when it was a British Colony. Now it’s a Special Administrated Region of China. Might be worth about USD$10 to a collector.

Ok this video made me look up a purse that I got at a yard sale for 25 cents. It was a crossbody purse and I needed one badly and it was in great shape. I just now looked it up cause this video. It's a 100 dollar purse. Not bad for 25 cents. The brand is Giani Bernini. Never heard of it before

Oh yes, Mulberry is a famous brand, a good find, wonderful! I saw it in Vogue magazine many years ago.
Gosh this is scary. I am ashamed to say but don't dig thru my garbage can. I have broken glass picture frames just sitting in there, sometimes I can wrap them up and sometimes I don't. We throw the dog vomit in there along with baby diapers. Not to mention with four teen girls in the house the amount of used feminine products strewn in there. Please Be Careful! You never know what used medical supplies with contaminated mersa infected bandages are thrown in a dumpster. While I applaud your charitable intentions, I think you are risking yours and your families health.
She always protects herself. Do you not see the gloves, mask and suit she is wearing. I’m sure she comes across yucky stuff and protects herself.

Oh my! I have been searching just the one dumpster where I live and its a gold mine! I have fished out so much stuff I usually donate but also reuse! They throw away working items all the time here. TV's, coffee tables, lamps, clothes, yes purses and so much more. I love watching your videos. I guess I have to start selling some of what I find. Walking down the street, I found beer plus a very expensive cooler, plants which I always rescue. You inspire others and I hope they do this too after watching your good works!!!

My parents were very successful dumpster diving. We clean things up and take them to swap meet in California (Back in the days) I have nothing but respect for people who do yard sales, goodwill, as long as it’s honest. I wish dumpster divers would clean up their mess afterwards though. Happy hunting. I think I will do it also👍👍👍🙏😘

I remember 1 morning I was out working hard & my daughter was with me & I stopped to get an ol dirty full size fridge that thing was very heavy I was having a lil trouble gettin it on my truck when I saw this lil sports car pull up it was a mercedes expensive car & this man got out dressed really nice expensive clothes even the shoes & I kept thinking this man looks so familiar I knew I'd saw him b4 but couldn't remember where at the time & he started helping me just couldn't believe it this rich man stopped to help me I told him no u will get them clothes filthy it will ruin them & he didn't say a word just started helpin me anyhow & he did get really dirty doin that & I thanked him bunches & ask him where have I saw u at b4 he said on TV I'm a singer of country music then it hit me it was Dierks Bently . He'd stayed all night in a lil town where we live in Tn. north of Nashville Tn. Anybody that don't believe in miracles will 1 day when they need 1 the worse .I've always been a big giver & God blesses me everyday with shelter & food I couldn't ask for no more .

I love watching you and I told my mom about you. Well, my mom is so amazed. I think she wants to dumpster dive, lol. And I know I do. I am disabled but if I could get someone to go with me I would. In the 1980s I lived in Southern California and I would cruise the allies on Friday night to check dumpsters. It was for entertainment. I found lots of useful things. So really I’m a picker from way back. And I do stop for curb finds. I have many things in my house today that I found. My husband has gotten the bug too. And My mom has gone through quite a few curb piles as well. But just wanted to tell you you how much we love your channel. We think you are so smart. And we love that you give back.
