    I did not regret watching the video until the end. Very informative.

    Just completed the project box (the last half of your video) along with you.. was almost able to build it as fast as you did with only 4 pauses! I don't think there is anyway I could have done this as fast in TinkerCad which sadly used to be my go to for simple boxes. I told a friend to use tinkercad for our esp32 projects, he told me to use freeCad.. then i bought a bambu lab x1 carbon. Then I find your tutorials. The stars have aligned.. Cheers to you sir!

    I've never even noticed that offset value used in the very end. I really should find time to use FreeCAD more.

      There is lots of features in freecad and I have just teamed up with a Developer to discover more 😁😁

    I was searching for the offset parameter of SubShapeBinder in Part Design, until the bright idea of using a newer version than 0.20 of FreeCad. 0.20.1 did the job.

      Yep thickness, when it works, makes life so much easier. Extruding a face is often forgotten about though.

    Im using 0.21.1 and under the thickness parameters there is no add face just a select button, is there another way to create another face. Thank you your videos are the easiest to follow and have helped me tremendiosly

    Hi. Do you have a video about generating a gcode in freecad? Merci

    • @MangoJellySolutions
      @MangoJellySolutions  Год назад

      I had one when I was first started on youtube with a homemade cnc but it's very much out dated and not up to the standards I produce videos at now. The path workbench would be your best call but it's all too do worth cnc paths.

    Hi there, I ahve seen your videos on FreeCAD and pretty impressed. I am prone to use SW and Fusion360 back in my UG&PG but I don't have their subscriptions anymore. Just wondering does freecad is enough like SW?
    thanks

      Thank you, glad you like the videos. I haven't used solid works for years so I can't really comment. But the workflows through such writhed as part design is similar to fusion in ways. Freecad is a very different beast due to the numerous ways you can achieve your goal
