While not trying to be a hater, im an audio engineer and yes, auto tune. 1:27 - 1:30 is a perfect example as the human voice doesn't pitch up like this, you can actually hear if you pay attenion when it pitches the note back up then down. Concentrate on the "my life" line at the end. The vibrato doesn't sound normal. Simillar to what Post malone does with his vibrato, which is generally just a singer not paying attention and 'singing on auto pilot' instead of concerntrating on the note. Just Post plays into his wild vibrato, and while tradtionally just plain bad singing, people seem to like it nowadays
Also he's 100% not singing live.
With that said however, his voice is very nice, the growl/gravel in the vocals is something not easily done.
I'm not trying to be a hater but you may know some about audio but seems like you're not a singer Cuz then u would know that the human voice can create absolutely incredible sounds.. I don't care if he uses autotune, that's btw not the answer to my question which was rhetorical anyways :p
