  • Drake Bell JUST CANCELED Hollywood?!
    Drake Bell continues to share his experience in the most recent episode of the ID documentary series "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV." The episode, named "Breaking the Silence," aired on Sunday, April 7, and features Bell discussing the events that have unfolded since he first disclosed his S A by Brian Peck.
    During the episode, host Soledad O’Brien engaged Bell, who participated from Mexico City, in a conversation about Will Friedle and Rider Strong. These two actors had written letters of support for Peck during his 2003 legal case. Despite hearing their explanation for their actions on their podcast, Bell conveyed that their words did not alter his perception of their courtroom support for Peck.
    “I worked with Will on ‘Spider-Man’ and there was a lot of opportunity to apologize or talk about it and [he] never did, but also, it’s a very difficult subject to bring up, especially in a work environment,” Bell remarked in the episode. “That’s the thing that’s hard about this - everyone deals with their trauma in different ways, everybody comes to different conclusions at different times in their lives and realizations.”
    Before the documentary aired, Friedle and Strong shared their experiences with Peck on their podcast “Pod Meets World.” They confessed to being groomed and misled, which led them to inadvertently support Peck, expressing regret for being on "the wrong side of everything" and feeling terrible about it. At that time, they were unaware that Bell was the victim or of the extent of Peck's criminal actions.
    “I really appreciate their perspective now, but that day is so ingrained in my mind,” Bell shared on Sunday. “Nobody’s reached out to me.”

    I know I'm gonna see it a bunch here, but Drake is innocent, don't believe all survivors, you're a moron if you don't believe people would lie about being SA'd or worse to get attention or money.
    Difference is Brian admitted to what he did and went to prison.
    Drake denied the allegations and that girls story quickly fell apart if you look at it beyond a stupid, "believe all women/survivors" outlook.
    People lie, that could include Drake, but it also includes that so called victim.
    The amount of false claims in general is staggering.
    And it's because of morons out there that think people wouldn't lie about being SA'd.
    She lied, and Drake is innocent.

There was also a court case on Brian concerning Drake; he confessed to several of the accusations. People seem to think its alleged or hearsay when it's been through due process long ago.

    Are josh peck and brain peck related?

  • @sgtsongbird
    @sgtsongbird 2 месяца назад +3

    I don't blame Josh for not wanting to get involved. It's ridiculous that people made him get involved. Drake and Josh was a TV show, not real life, and Drake Bell and Josh Peck weren't even really friends, let alone brothers. The way people expect them to still act like literal family is so bizarre.
    I get the feeling Josh knew that Drake was shaping up to become an abuser himself, waaaaayyyyy before the info about Drake being abused came out. It's pretty clear he didn't like Drake much, and he was kind of right. Drake drove drunk multiple times, carelessly endangering the lives of everyone around him, and let's not forget, he sexually assaulted a minor multiple times. Idc what he says about it now, I've heard what the victim has to say and I believe her. I think Josh saw all that negativity and badness brewing and that's why he didn't want to be friends with Drake, and I don't blame him.
    It sucks that Drake was assaulted. It's horrible and it should never have happened. It DOES NOT excuse Drake's behavior and DOES NOT preclude him from judegment for going on to continue the cycle of abuse. It was wrong what happened to him; it is equally as wrong what he has done to others. If I were Josh I also wouldn't want anything to do with this guy.

      Also, Josh is an A-hole, which I'm willing to forgive now. But him claiming they were never friends is just incorrect. There is photos and videos of them hanging out throughout the years after the show. Perhaps he never got over the wedding thing.
      Either way, I'm hoping it's water under the bridge since Josh reached out to Drake personally, which was nice to know.

      They’ve both talked about it and basically it all came down to feelings that neither of them communicated to each other.
      -Josh continued a “friendship” because he felt like he had to, but in reality he was jealous of Drake. Drake was the handsome heartthrob, the rockstar, the popular one, etc. and Josh was the butt of every joke. He didn’t understand why people thought he had to stay in touch with a coworker from his childhood.
      -Drake on the other hand felt a sincere connection with Josh and really leaned on that when he was going through the abuse. He thought they really were this dynamic duo and had no idea the jokes were taking a toll on Josh in real life or that Josh had this underlying anger and resentment toward Drake.

      Drake’s innocent. That girl lied about him.

    • @SheyHerz
      @SheyHerz Месяц назад

      The SA about that girl was dismissed from being SA, and Drake ended up being charged for what he actually did which was back and Ford texting at the start, when he didn't know the girl was underage and all he did in the texts was answer a fan, she was obsessed with him and bc of it she made the claims bc of attention, but the investigation of all, proved he didn't even sent her pictures of himself. They only texted and never even met up. So it was just made up by the media about the SA for click baiting people into consumption of their media publications.

    • @bigdoubleu117
      @bigdoubleu117 Месяц назад

      @@SheyHerz Exactly! The so-called victim claimed that they sent naughty photos to each other through Snapchat...
      But what she clearly doesn't understand, is that even though any photos might be gone for the users, those photos are not gone for the government.
      I don't know why people don't understand this, but just because something is deleted doesn't mean that it's gone forever, because the government, your phone carrier, internet provider, etc. all have copies of literally everything you've ever done, especially Snapchat who keeps everything.
      There is a record of everything and they found nothing.

      I respectfully disagree. I understand your point but many survivors find the actual words triggering. I think it's important to be sensitive to them. That being said, not softening our language when calling out people is important in general. But I don't think it's a problem to be careful to not retraumatize someone.
