You might want to wear orange in the woods during hunting season, and orange vests for the pups. Just to be safe. Love seeing your property... I love that it isn’t flat, and so many trees ❤️❤️❤️

Agreed! Some people just shoot at anything that moves. Accidents do happen, unfortunately. Being city slickers they wouldn't be aware of the dangers of hunting.

Maybe you guys can get some of that orange plastic ribbon stuff and tie it to the tree's every 6 to 8 feet so when your out there like this you'll know exactly what's your's and what's theirs. Also please invest in orange hats or vests to wear during hunting season so you don't get shot. Mistakes do happen. 💜🙏

You could use the large tree limbs or straight logs that are down to line your paths. I did that to define my trails. Got rid of them just laying around and made it easier to follow trails.

You might want to get those logs to a burn pile so they don't become forest fire tinder. YES Shannon sawmill lots of fun. Please Don't put hay bails around the camper base as it draws rodents to nest in it. Construction zones are messy. 💖💖😄😄👍👍

I have 4 huge maple trees around my house. They really need to be cut but I can't afford it. 😕 One lost two sections and knocked out the neighborhood power. It had 6 sections. I talked to someone about cutting it down but they said it's to close to power line and to tall. I have no idea what I will do. Good luck with your trees.

Clay does not drain well the platlets stack like a stack of plates in your cupboard. The layers hold water a little too well because they are held together by an electrical charge. It was very hot and dry this summer and a lot of the bacteria and fungi that create aggregates (little lumps) in the soil deid or went dormant, kind of like your trees. With no aggregates there are no enough air holes to hold the water. If it can't run off it pools.

Trees usually split when they have been damaged so you might have two or more trunks going upwards. It’s a good idea to use the straightest downed branches to determine your trail paths through the woods and even have one of those small wagons that you can wheel or tow with the 4 wheeler to carry small cut timber back up to the camper for firewood.

If you use hey to block off and insulate underneath the trailer. It will moldy up pretty bad so make sure it's a temporary fix just to get you through that season. You really need to use styrofoam boards and plywood to do it right and to make it permanent until the house is built. Just my opinion love you guys stay safe and God bless. Tony

You’re too precious for such a freak accident as hunters not knowing you’ve moved there… PLEASE take time to do that B4 you go on the trail again. And I think of your pups’ being in danger as they go out in the woods. I just subbed & do care ‘cause I already love y’all like family. Well, what to do? First came Chad & the boys, then Grandpa, (& Grandma) & now y’all! I really enjoy your whole family & I also have a big place in my heart for Smokey, Herc, & Nala. Ok you two, I have a new tip of the day for you. It's for both the well house and under your R.V. but you may already know this, A 60 watt incandescent light bulb on a timer in the well house, then a 100 watt on a timer under the R.V once you get the under-pinning up, if you use a vapor barrier with your insulation. It doesn't heat but it helps to take the bite out of the cold. Best of luck, you are doing such a fantastic job of things.

My great Uncle & Auntie came to USA….bought 250 acres of farmland In Schuykill Haven PA. Together, they build a gorgeous home, barn, smoker barn, chicken coup, pig runs, all from land on the property. All by themselves. I’ve never been more impressed with the raw talent and back breaking work they put into their dreams.
Spent a month every summer with them running a full farm with cows, chickens, goats, turkeys, pigs and hundreds of acres of veggies. I learned to much.
They are gone….left farm to another niece whom they felt sorry for….
Now we have no idea what or if the farm still exists.
Anyone out there can help us find the farmhouse and land?

Plant them in a pot for the first year. Over winter in your pumphouse. I have some that are beautiful shade trees and they aren't even 8 years old. Producing acorns that the deer love !!!

@@KSDossAcres I bought some snatch blocks and straps from Harbor Freight if you don't want to buy expensive logging ones, they are pretty good quality and haven't failed me yet.

    Your land is so beautiful.
I’m in Western Central Arizona. It’s supposed to be 27° overnight. It rained most of the day. It’s going to be cold in the morning.🥶
Blessings to you ❤ thanks for the trail walk.
