I think a lot of people shy away from Kerby's books because they look so intricate and complicated but as you've shown people, it's actually much less complicated that it seems, as the shadows are guidelines for people rather than an added difficulty. I hope more people give the books a chance following your colour alongs 🥰

100% agree. I avoided Kerby's books, because they looked so intimidating but then watched someone color the converse sneaker shops page and decided to buy Worlds within Worlds and fell in love.

I three of the same book bc it’s so gorgeous and there’s so many ways to color it so many colors you can pick out for each individual page I like how some pages are connected together so one art piece would be two pages worth

I like that you dont go in lightly like some of these other colorists on youtube, I'm rather heavy handed coloring and I'm trying to control that but I love that the drawings are richer and more vibrant that way and look 3D.

Great to see the background being done. I wondered how colourists did them and it’s definitely having a “no fear” approach. I’m not sure I have that in me just yet, as I’m enjoying colouring all little details. I find it very mediative.

Lucy, Thank you SO much for demonstrating how to use Neocolor 2 for a background and your secret tips for resolving splotches. I've never used them before, but I have them on my Amazon wishlist. But I've seen some very splotchy backgrounds when RUclipsrs have shared their month-end pages, so I wasn't sure I'm up to using them. With this demonstration and a bit of practice, I think I can do it. Thanks!

Bonsoir merci beaucoup pour ce pas à pas ... grâce à vous je me suis aussi lancée cela m’a donné confiance en moi je ferai le fond au pan pastel car le papier n’est pas super pour l’aquarelle j’ai hâte de commencer le deuxième perroquet avec vous comme lui je prend mon envol ce livre est superbe de plus c’est pour la bonne cause car une partie du prix sera versé directement à l’association qui défendent les animaux en voie de disparition

Love your videos and colouring skills! Beautiful. I was watching while waiting for my books to be delivered only to have them soaked in rain. So disappointed. I guess that ordering colouring books in the winter is not a good idea. 😢. It may be ok but are stained orange from another package. It’s first time I ever had anything damaged from Amazon.
Hi I have a question and I know it might be silly. Could you use the pan pastel applicators with normal pastels? To apply them on your colouring pages for more easy application? I have been curious as I have pastels but not pan pastels as I can’t afford them at this time
Hi Kay I think you could however the sponges on them are very fragile and it may wear them out quite quickly. You could try make up applicators though x x x

Hi Carole, I find the more you put down before activating it helps. I try to colour it as if that was going to be the finished picture and then add the water. They really do take some getting used to. They are a lot easier to use if you scribble them on a board and activate them with a water-brush. I hope that helps 🤗💖

I don’t understand the very thick layer of neocolor. If you put that much down, why bother with th water? I thought the idea with neocolor is to put down a nice coat but then use water to spread the neocolor to areas where there is no neocolor?
Do you spray the chalk? Do you a reference picture?
Hi Jacquie, I actually didn't spray it, but if you do, you should before putting the Neos down as I dont know what reaction they would have to it. I did use a reference picture from the internet for the parrots 🤗💖
In my photo the beak is not as black. Oh well I guess the parrots may look a bit different.
