This nest was unseen and the homeowner noticed the hornets flying to and from the rhododendron shrub then called me. Upon arrival the nest was seen hanging in the shrub.

I guess I have been lucky , ive had nests around my yard and never was met with aggression, just minded their own business. Also had paper wasps too and I could go right up to them and they didn't mind. Maybe they just didn't see me as a threat. I actually enjoyed watching the progression of their nests .
Might be the least aggressive colony I've seen in a minute...
